I use one part unscented Dr. Bronner's castile soap and 3 parts water to avoid all the scents and chemicals in typical soap! I like the pump's feel. I think having a set of three provides a good value, covering my two bathroom sinks and the kitchen sink. And I really love having foaming soap; it rinses off so quickly and thoroughly. I can't speak to durability yet, but I don't see any early warning signs.But I do plan on using this for years, and my one complaint is in refilling it. The manufacturer suggests a 4:1 ratio of water:soap. The easy math would be to double that, to 8 oz water and 2 oz soap, which adds up to 10 oz. But this bottle will hold no more than 9 oz before spilling. So I guess I should factor it down to... what... 7.5 oz water and 1.5 oz soap? That's now out of proportion, but then, I don't remember how to factor from my SAT prep!I get it, no need for precision, but... why not just make this a 10-oz bottle? Why make it aggravating for all time to come?By the way, I have seen some people here recommend a 5:1 ratio of water:soap (rather than 4:1). In my opinion, that would be too much water. You still want some slipperiness to the soap.
