**Q: The lid won’t come off of the carafe, it just keeps spinning. How do I fix this?**
A: Push down like you would child proof pill bottle it’ll then see that clear seal in place and you’ll be able to twist it off. Also make sure lil air vent is up when opening.

**Q: How much coldbrew does it make at a time?**
A: As the ad description states.... 32 ounces. Then you drop it into the insulated bottle after 12-24 hours. You can immediately start the next batch. Both can stay together in the fridge.

**Q: I'm having difficulty removing the lid from the serving carafe. It spins around & around.Is this a defective unit or is there a trick to removing it?**
A: Hi There, It sounds as though you may have a problem with your carafe. Please contact us so we can rectify this for you right away.

A: Sounds like you might have a vacuum inside your carafe. You didn't state which carafe, the serving or brewing. If the brewing, then opening the orange tab in the lid should break any vacuum seal. If you mean the serving carafe, then you'll just have to force it open. I've had vacuums happen in other insulated bottles when I added cold liquid with ice. This shrinks the air inside the bottle causing a vacuum. Sometimes you really need to use a lot of force to get it loose.

Tired of overpaying for cold brew at the store or coffee shop? This is a great way to prepare your own at home and have a great container to take with you to the office or elsewhere. I enjoy the routine of making the coffee the day before and watching as the coffee gets darker and richer on my countertop. The equipment is pretty easy to handwash, just be mindful of the ball bearing placement for a proper seal, and after washing that you don't shake off excess water. If you shake it too hard it will come flying out, but if you put your finger on it, it will hold in place while you shake off the water. Overall, it's simple to use, easy to clean up, and delivers a great coffee. I also use a burr grinder to make fresh coarse grounds so that it works well with the metal mesh filter. You can easily make 3+ cups of coffee in a single brewing and the carafe has plenty of room if you wish to add ice, water, or milk before you pack up to take on the go.
