Initial review: Belt size XL for a 40" diameter measured at my navel - fits accurately and comfortably. Previous leather belt tapered in front too much to feel my core was secure. This 4" width all around is a great fit. So far, Gym Reaper has been quality, low-cost gear for a novice lifter. If I have any issues with fraying or tearing, I'll update this review. A+++ thus far.

I bought this belt for clean and jerk when I compete. It is perfect for this as it lays close to the body and does not catch the bar on the way up. It feels pretty good for squats too. Most importantly, the sizing listed here is exactly how the belt fits. I have returned similar belts like this on Amazon when the sizing was off.
