I have had the Dorcy battery spotlight for years and love it. I expected Dorcy to provide a good product and haven't been disappointed. It looks like a circuit board for the LEDs so I don't think they're replaceable. If someone knows different, please leave a comment. My lights aren't the same in the photos but they're very similar. There is no knob; you press the button. There's a globe rather than a tube inside. I'm very happy with these lights and will probably be ordering more.

Lanterns: good light lanterns that give a good abundance of light. Love the handles with the hanging option, though the one pictured here doesn’t have a handle (my four year old took it off and lost it). Al three of my children love their lantern. Batteries: awful. I don’t think I’ve ever had batteries that died so quickly. However, if you replace them with good Duracell batteries, then they last a long time! Going over a week of every single night use, and it’s just as bright as brand new batteries. Would I suggest? Yes!! Where else can you buy 3 lanterns for this price? I’d buy again, no doubt about it, and just toss the batteries they came with so that I didn’t have to go through that piece again. If it wasn’t for the batteries, I’d give five stars in a heartbeat.

We keep buying more of these. we love the carrying and hanging handle option. They are great for hanging in a tent. Little children can safely use them. Bright light for a small size.

This set of 3 Dorcy brand lanterns are easy to use and convenient. Bottom screws apart for battery compartment. Top unscrews to remove dome for brighter light.

I bought these for a camping trip. I was taking my four and six-year-old on. They each got one and loved gloved loved it. If they throw them around like little boys do, they fall apart, but so far we have been able to put them back together and they still work. They have survived through two camping trips, and a number of hikes.

This is my second purchase of the Dorcy Led Mini Lanterns. I bought them for the second time because they are an excellent aid when we lose power due to weather. However, the light on this new version (the blue) is not as bright. Moreover, the push bottom to turn it on and off is made out of some kind of rubber, which with time, will get hard and I won't be able to turn on the light (previous experience with other products) The old model (red) has a turn on/off knob.

Great portable lanterns with 1 setting ( on and off ) bright light ( bright enough ) Comes loaded with batteries that all work. The handle has a convenient fold- out hook.

I haven’t used the lights yet but after taking them out of the packaging and adding the batteries, the turquoise and pink lanterns worked as they should but the green lantern does not completely turn off. When the turn off button is pressed, it dims but will not turn off completely like the others. This will burn up the batteries in the green lantern. Returning them is so much work. I contacted Dorcy with pictures and they sent me a new package. I’m very impressed with Dorcy and will continue to buy this product - great gift for kids and adults as it provides safety - I’ve used mine in power outages and have a lantern both upstairs and on the main level.

These were great when the power was out for several hours. They gave off lots of light.
