Not going to lie. These were total game changes for me and my house. We have a lot of fairy lights, yes, I have a problem. However, we use these lights for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and basically any other holiday that is made better by festive lighting. However, most of the fairy lights use 3 AAA batteries, and have to be changed once every few days.Doesn't seem like a lot, until you realize that during Christmas, we utilize about 40 fairy light packages around our house and outside. That's 120 AA batteries a week (at least!).So, I bought a few of these, just to try them out...Phew!Great power! Very durable (works outside, so long as you cover the adapter and tape along the connector cable. And just kept lights going the whole season. The cable is long enough to go where it needs to go, and the flat ribbon allows any weather-sealed containers (like outdoor fairy lights) to seal up good!Now, we use them for so many other applications- our spinning discoball, our weather station, our outside "BBQ" sign, our battery operated (but stationary) fans. Seriously. Anything that runs on 3 AA batteries? This thing is like buying a battery that NEVER dies!I've recommended it to a lot of people, and, seriously, most of them didn't even know it existed.

Works great!! I have an old Halloween sign and I never use it cause of the battery power needed, I got this and it works great! Still able to close it in the back.. don’t turn off the item without unplugging it, I noticed it will cause it to heat up quicker .. definitely a good buy

I have string lights that I bought for my office but didn't realize that they were battery powered. I bought these babies, popped them in, and they worked great. The cord length is decent as well. Definitely worth the money.

we purchased this to fit into a Christmas tree we bought at IKEA that was only battery operated the plug works fine sometimes after it’s been on for a while it just goes out. I’m not sure why but it’s fit our purposes for the holidays.

We installed in-cabinet LED lighting in a glass door cabinet above our coffee bar and the lights were originally battery powered. When I saw this retrofit AC adapter, I bought one to try and it was perfect. I’ve now installed more lights in other shelving units and purchased these to power them.You do need some type of space to route and store the excess cable, and depending on your furniture or cabinetry, you will need to do some drilling and customization to get them fitted properly for a custom look, but in my case, it was well worth the effort. In the photo I attached, all wiring is routed under the cabinet out of sight (unless you bend down and look up under the cabinets) and the excess is coiled and stored on the left side up into a wall cavity.In my installation, I drilled small holes in the frame members under the cabinetry to route the wire, and the far left side of the wall cabinet has a 2” wide space into which I coiled and starred the excess cable that this AC adapter comes with. I also purchased this same product from the same seller, but with an adapter that supports 3 strings of lights. I’m blown away with how easy it was to do, what a great solution it provides, and how beautiful it looks.
