Nice Clock
What a great purchase for the price. Read the description and you'll know it's not wood but plastic. Unless you're up close you won't know the difference. The dark cherry finish goes well with our end tables, dining table and it fits great on the mantle. You can easily read it from across the room.

I needed to replace my mantel clock that I had for forty years. I had to repair it once and it cost me $200.00!! No, thank you!!This clock is perfect. It's simple, and classic. Not expensive. Battery operated so when the electricity goes out it still will keep the time.I'm so happy with this purchase!

This is a great looking clock, great detail. I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to the El-Cheapo movement. It was very difficult installing the battery, thought I was going to break something and yes, I put the negative end in first. It seems to work fine.

Great clock.
Easy to set. Easy to read. Looks really nice. Runs off of 1 AA battery. Needed a clock when we got rid of the cable box. Now I have no excuse for staying up too late reading or watching TV. I recommend this clock.

Greenish tinted clock face.
The face of the clock is not even close to the advertised picture on Amazon.Per the Amazon pictures, it should be an Antique White, or something similar. I thought it would go well with my light creme walls.HOWEVER, the face of the clock is yellowish green. It looks terrible! It looks like it could be that glow-in-the-dark coating they used to put on clock hands.I like the size and shape of the clock, but that clock face color is a deal breaker.Buyer beware!!

Just in the nick of time. Table clock is fresh, quiet, no ticking sound, very light weight, hallow back, and inexpensive. Shiny black color, bold face, perfect size for an end table or shelf.
