Very pricey for the small amount you get but the quality is good. As with all the alcohol derived sugars you really should build up to using it, don't go cold turkey away from cane sugar. All of the alcohol sugars work similarly and pass through your system and it can take a little while for your system to adapt. Start by substituting this for about 1/4 of the table sugar you might use in coffee, tea etc. After a week, maybe substitute 1/2 and go from there. If you want to bake with it, don't just eliminate table sugar and make something using this only because you might experience unpleasant side effects involving quick runs to the toilet.Alcohol sugars can also give you a headache so get into using this slowly and work your body to acceptance. Also, make sure you get plenty of fluids when using these alcohol sugars as they need to be flushed from your system which is how they are expected to react.The taste is a close to table sugar as you can get, no aftertaste at all. I bought this because of the non-GMO manufacturing. Unlike cane sugar, this is a process manufactured sugar. Being non-GMO, at least you have some confidence that the sources for the alcohol aren't coming from GMO sources.Try it, but just go slow and your results will probably be worthwhile.

This item is really small for the price and I don't it contains up to 25 tsp as claimed. Just as a point of reference. 2.5lb sells for less than $16. Will like to return it but Amazon says it can't be returned. AMaxon needs to protect its customers better from rogue merchants like this.

I wanted to purchase xylitol because I wanted a non-nutritive sweetener and have read that xylitol (a sugar alcohol) also helps prevent tooth decay. The quality is great and the price is fantastic. There is no funny after-taste as with stevia. Just be aware, if you over indulge, you might have loose stools.

Everything about this product is superb and an appropriate price. However I am not a fan if the "ziplock" thingy to close the bag. In struggle to seal the bag after opening to the point where i just leave them open. The sealing mechanism is just too thin.

I will order my supplement powder from another supplier. Quality of bulk supplement company is horrible and there is no customer service. No phone and they don’t respond to emails.

Placed order with BulkSupplements and they offered to let me try additional product for free if I would write a review. I have purchased the NOW BRAND XYLITOL before at the grocery store for around $7 for 454 grams (1.25lbs) so I'm familiar with costs. BulkSupplements price more than double the NOW brand(per gram) at 12.96 for 250 grams. Which didn't seem right considering they don't have the overhead associated with retailing through storefronts. And there packaging is very basic. Which I never could get to reclose after opening (this happened on a few of the other products I purchased from them as well.) The Xylitol was good as far as sweetness and texture so no complaints there, but I will probably stick with the NOW brand for cost, availability and better packaging.

I blend xylitol with other sweeteners that are low or no calorie. This is a deal for this product. I put a small amount in my oral irrigation water as it helps prevent cavities. Please check with your irrigation machine maker first. Great experience as always with this fine supplier!
