Cars coming from behind are very hard to even distinguish until they are just a few feet from you. It's just a washed out looking image (and I did experiment with all the available brightness/contrast/saturation/etc... adjustments). Bottom line, when I start to shift in the lane or turn, I can't trust just looking at the monitor. I have to turn and look over my shoulder anyway.
