We had always used standard boom standson our vocal mics because all singers also playedInstruments. One night, an overly energetic band member hit the long end of my boom while I was singing - twice during the same show. I had a busted lip and two chipped teeth. We have since replaced all our booms with these and will never go back. Once you get them set the way you want them, you don’t have to readjust them at all, and since there is no “excess boom” stickingout, they are definitely safer without losing any ofthe advantages of a boom. They’re great!

I was needing an in between size that I couldn’t achieve with a standard gooseneck without the mic sagging. This works perfect and is easily adjusted to different heights

I bought this mic boom along with the fixture that attaches to the keyboard stand. It holds my microphone securely. I wish it extended an additional 6 inches, but I am able to use it the way it is.

Just like the title says. I use the GPA1003 because it's a great stand for guitar players with a pedalboard. The tilt pole on that stand is ok, but this makes it much more functional. Decent quality and I've been using it for a few months without issue.

I bought this Quick Loc boom to go with my Airturn ultra-light/compact tripod mic stand. The Quick Loc boom is PERFECT to go with that tripod. It doesn't stick out behind the boom. I really like how easy it is to use, and it never slips. It weighs almost nothing and it fits perfectly in my gig bag or back pack. I now have the perfect set up for all the one nighters I play. I am using the boom with an On-Stage Quick Release mic adapter, so I can easily remove the boom from the tripod base without worrying about damaging the threads since I no longer need to unscrew it and screw it back on over and over again, risking thread damage. Slick set up!

I like the concept of this, but it's a poor design. Does not last and does not fit in the stand like it's supposed to. I would not buy it again or recommend it to a friend
