Messy but Terrific
I was able to try sheets of this out in a painting class where we traced drawings onto watercolor paper. As long as you remember which side goes up or down, it is fantastic. I bought a roll instead of sheets because the price was less. It is messy to handle when cutting to the desired size as the graphite rubs off easily which is why it works so well. I wear surgical-type gloves when handling it and it isn't as messy.

Quick delivery
I like and use this product to transfer images for colored pencil paintings. Some of my students do not have drawing skills and the transfer paper is a life saver.

Carbon transver
Does the job but be careful of carbon smudges on your paper.

Love this stuff
I love using this, it works really well. That being said as a “messy” artist I have to remember to have wipes nearby as it is very easy to smear this onto everything if you aren’t careful. I believe this was my third order and will continue to use it as I try to move past being a “messy creative” type person.

Pricey but works
Use for transferring patterns onto wood. Works, I hate the price

Only one that works for watercolor paper!
I used another brand of carbon transfer on my watercolor paper and it would not erase off, was too black. This is exactly like a pencil. You can erase lines to make them lighter. Excellent.

Careful, the graphite smears easily onto paper.
I'm using Saral to trace images onto watercolor paper. Found that graphite will smear onto paper if you rest your tracing hand too hard or slide your hand too hard on Saral transfer paper. Also, the graphite can run a little gray into your watercolor wash. I suggest going with a fairly light touch when tracing for watercolor so not to cause excess graphite transfer.
