My key fob buttons stopped working, and I haven’t been locking my car as a result. There have been some car break-ins lately and I wanted to get new key so I could lock and unlock my car easily. The dealership wanted $400 for a key, so I took a chance on this and glad I did. The hardware store cut the key and I programmed it in the parking lot in 10 minutes flat.

This was easy to program and works perfectly. Just make sure to get it cut at the right place. Other than that it’s been great.

It could just be my 2010 Ford f150 causing the issue but I tried it a few times and couldn't get it to work. Never pressed any buttons or opened the door during the process, the unit made all of the right beeps and indicates that it's paired but never actually pairs to the truck. Customer support wasn't all that helpful because when I told them the issue I was having they just read the instructions to me.

I have a 2012 Ford Edge and had no issues programming the new key. I was also able to get the key cut at Ace Hardware with no issues.

I easily got the key cut at a locksmith for roughly $6CDN , then followed along a YouTube video. I set a timer for 10 minutes while it was programming, and after 9:50 , it worked ! First try ! I haven’t tried with the other spare ford keys on the market, (as I only needed one spare set of keys) but I’d imagine that it would program them as well. At first, I was unsure if the product would work, but after the first try, I’m a happy customer. (2011 F-150)

Very easy. Take the key, get it cut. Follow the very easy instructions and you have a working key. I did 2 keys at one sitting, back to back, both work perfectly.
