The description of lamp says 100 watt. When it arrived, there was a sticker on the lamp that said maximum 60 watt bulb or risk of fire. Really?

I have both the table lamp and floor lamp. The floor lamp had a sticker saying 100 watt max and the table lamp says 60 watt max.

Does the lamp shade come in one piece or maybe I need to assemble the lamp shade?

Shade is fully assembled, just add to top of lamp.

What is the size of the base?

Hi- The base on mine measured 7 inches.

Is the lamp heavy? I want something that feels sturdy and stable. I bought a similar lamp that would tip when you pulled the chain.

it is not heavy, but it is sturdy enough to not move at all when you pull the chain to turn it on and off. The only issue I had with these lamps is that one of the shades is a bit crooked, and believe or not it is a pain in the butt to set it straight.
