BRILLIANT
Excellent quality with padded straps. Looks very good too. It's a good size. All manner of pockets and great shoe store at the bottom of the bag which is waterproof. My grandson was thrilled to get it. Ingenious place to store his rugby ball. Would highly recommend this bag.

Great concept - badly executed - cheap zips
Unfortunately its a real struggle to get a size 5 rugby ball into the bag and zip it up. The bag zips are really fragile and not good quality at all. After trying to zip up the ball the stitching and zip was under major strain. This will not last at the hands of my son unfortunately. I will be returning it and seeking something more durable.

Almost the perfect school/sports bag
Decent quality well thought out bag however is a just a little too small all over. (Edit: unfortunately although the bag material is fine the pulls quickly fall off the zips! Shame as other than the pulls falling off the zips don't seem that bad. This might be related to the fist problem bag being too small, everything being too tight a fit)Lower zip pocket to store boots separate from other kit is fine for kids size 2 but don't think you'd get size 8 in there.Side pockets: You'd want to put a water bottle in one and shin pads in the other. Most water bottles will be too big to fit, seems to be designed for one shin pad in each sticking out the top.Football or at a squeeze size 6 basket ball will fit in the main ball pocket but fills most of the inside of bag. Be nice if there was a basket ball variant for a full size (7) basketball.Interior compartments: useful separator and a zip pocket that you might get a wallet into if it's small but not a school calculator. As I say nice idea and although is same size as most other back packs it needs to be just that little bigger to account for space used by ball and allow required space for adult/teenage kit.For a 9 year old footballer will probably be ideal.

A reasonable quality football rucksack that'll likely last for a few years' of use...
The “Football Rucksack” from “Solo-Pro” is a handy water-resistant rucksack that’s specifically designed for using for football training and football games etc.The main feature of the rucksack that somewhat differentiates it from a normal rucksack is undoubtedly the large globe-shaped compartment that’s specifically for storing a football within. This pocket (for want of a better word) is vented, so it doesn’t get smelly and musty. It can also hold a ball up to Size 5 (which is a standard sized football size).Along with this feature, the rucksack also has a large main pocket which provides plenty of room for a kit and/or change of clothes etc. There’s also handy side pockets which zip up, for smaller items like storing your watch or wallet etc.The quality of the rucksack seems to be reasonable. There’s no obvious loose stitching or snags where the rucksack can easily start to tear or come away from the seams. The water resistant fabric used for the main parts of the rucksack seems quite thick and durable. It’ll probably last my son a good few years of use.The straps that go over your shoulders are also of a reasonable quality. They may start to tear where they join the main part of the bag if you’re lugging a lot of weight around. Although for a football bag, that’s unlikely. Unless you’re planning to carry school books in there as well etc.All in all, for our needs at least, it certainly does the job. Not amazing quality, but good enough for us. Especially for the relatively reasonable pricetag.

Takes everything you need
My son loves his rugby, and this bag was a lot easier for him to manage than the standard kit bags. He occasionally uses it as a school bag to and takes his rugby ball with him to use in the playground. It just works.
