Review: Works, but not for shoulders - I purchase this with hopes that it would shift the weight of a ski boot bag off of my shoulders and on to my hips. It does do that; however, since it attaches to the shoulder straps it pulls on them. I have a dislocated shoulder so I'm super sensitive to the weight. As a result, this didn't work for what I needed. If all you need is to pull the bag in and help distribute the weight, it should work for you. I gave it a 4 since it does what it is supposed to do.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do they attach to the backpack?**
A: There are adapters that allow you to attach it where ever it fits best for you.  Once you see them they are very easy to understand and use.  Took me less that 5 minutes to get them on and adjusted to fit me.

**Q: How long are the straps?**
A: They can be adjusted to be quite long.  I am not a svelte person and after adjustment, I have plenty of lenth going unused.

**Q: Can this work for as a strap extender for a 1 3/4  or 1.75 strap?**
A: i don't think these straps are designed as extensions they are male and female.

**Q: How long are they?  The description says 16".  Is that total, or per side?  The existing answer says "as long as you need", which isn't very helpful.**
A: These Belts are Adjustable to say as long as you need is not an answer I have a 36 inch waist and i had no problem with these straps fitting me. I hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Confortable, only option I found to add a waists belt to backpack

I recently bought a backpack. It is great except that it was missing a waist belt. I don't know why but most backpacks to carry laptops are either optimised for hiking or do not have a waist belt. Being that laptops are heavy, I think it is an important feature to include. At the end I opted to buy one without a waist belt and add it myself. And this was the only good option I found. The buckle is wide which adds to comfort and weight relief of the back. My backpack didn't have a place to add one so I sewed it to the end of the shoulder straps with a nylon thread. The result is great, it doesn't move and I finally can use my otherwise perfect backpack with some weight relief of my shoulders.
