We bought 3 of these gates for our granddaughter’s visit. My son put them all up in under an hour and they are doing their job. They’re solid and it’s unlikely a toddler could breach. At the same time, they’re easy for us to open.

Using this gate for a dog gate. It’s very sturdy & the easiest to open. I have other brands that are sold on Amazon & this is the best!

This gate is a must have! It is an easy install. It works by allowing you to customize the height and allows you to push the button to open the gate.

I bought this to block off the top of my staircase for my 12-month old. The adjustability makes this perfect. It fits snugly against the sides of the staircase without causing any damage. The gate is easy enough to use that my 3-year old can get through (although we're still working on getting him to close it properly). It also has a prop open feature that is really convenient when the baby is in a different room. Would definitely recommend.Edit: A couple things to add. When you pull the gate out of the box, the gate doesn't align with the frame. This is intentional. The frame flexes under the tension of the wall anchors as you extend them, and the gate will line up under tension. Don't be like me and bend the frame so it's square only to realize you're not as smart as you think you are.Also, the kit comes with either double-sided sticky tape or screws to attach the anchors to the wall. When I undid my mistake of squaring up the frame, I bent it just a little further out to give it more tension on the flex. It's pretty secure, but a toddler could probably knock it over if he tried. I may end up securing it via the screws (my preference over sticky stuff), but it's working out pretty well as is so far.

This gate fits doorframes between 29.75" to 40.5". It has two pieces that can be added on to extend the length. The setup instructions were pretty good, but it was a little confusing figuring out how to add one of the extensions. A wrench is included to tighten the nuts. This was really helpful in getting the gate securely installed.The latching mechanism can be operated one handed and requires the gate to be lifted in addition to simultaneous switch and button manipulation. The gate hinge squeaks a little bit if you just lift up near the latch but is silent if you use your other hand to lift the gate near the hinge as well as lifting by the latch.The gate also can be configured to only swing in one direction.Overall, I'm happy with the gate.

This is missing the 1 pole extension and 4 extension inserts. It is impossible to install without it as the pressure screws don't screw into anything at all, so there's no way to tighten at all. Even without the extension. Whole thing is garbage.

Good heavens, this gate is REALLY sturdy! I got this gate to keep the dogs confined in my den/home office with me when I’m at my computer…they both love to sneak into our cat room and hit the litter box buffet. Plus, the gate will also keep them confined when I’m out running errands…when no one is home, they know how to bust open the cat room door…although they never do it at night, when the husband and I are in bed!Anyway, the gate is super sturdy. Hubby had it installed in the doorway in short order. It’s well-made, and by far, the easiest baby gate to open! The screw-out tension rods hold the whole assembly tightly in the doorway. Hubby and I are both very pleased with this gate!
