I had a number of knives--kitchen and tactical that I used this tool on not a day after I tried another brand sharpener and this sharpener brought the edge up to RAZOR sharp...the other sharpener achieved what I would classify as "utility" sharp. The nice thing above this product is the blades will auto adjust for the type of knife edge you are trying to sharpen which is to say many knives and other sharp objects require different angles. Your typical pre-set angle sharpener is not adjustable. I can take this tool and sharpen my Roman Maintz Gladius sword and then turn right around and sharpen my kitchen knives and this is exactly what I did. Everything now is razor sharp. Oh...if you sharpen a Maintz Gladius I strongly recommend Kevlar protective gloves while doing it...the blade is 22" long after all... ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2017* Yeah, it works.
