I don't have them facing into direct sunlight anyway, so I can't comment on UV stability.The aluminium base is reasonably thick and the mounting holes correct for this sort of notice. However the holes do distort when mounting, so there is a risk that with time, the metal will distort sufficiently to loosen and fall off. That hasn't happened yet, but if it does, I will come back to this review and change it to 3 stars.
