GNC PRO PERFORMANCE® L-GLUTAMINE 5000MG

Good and effective

My hematologist recommended this to me in place of a prescription grade L-Glutamine which has an exorbitant co-pay. He said GNC's brand is equivalent in the medical purpose for which he prescribes this amino acid. I have been using this brand over a year and it's now difficult to find in the store. I normally buy the 181 serving size, but no one has it. Anyway, it dissolves easily, has no residual grains left in the liquid, and is clean in taste. All the others I've used have a kind of metallic taste, but not this one. I mix it with water and drink it down. Others, I have to mix with seltzer to cover that taste. I wish you had the large 181 serving container, but I will continue to buy 6 of this size at a time since I take it 2x a day and cannot be without it. I love this brand better than any other I have tried. This brand is the best of the 5 I have tried.
