But 3” size is also available. So I am assuming it will cut the copper pipe. Frankly, I have not come across 3” copper pipe for use at home. If you buy the right size, it will cut. **Q: Will this cut 3 inches metal fence post** A: It might, but it would be on the ragged edge it it's capacity. It is light weight and not at all beefy. The selling picture of this cutter even shows it cutting copper pipe.
