Q: Does this unit fit onto the floor or the sides?

This unit is secured to the floor of the cupboard with the screws provided and will then slide in and out as required.

Hello, the size of the bottom basket is 18.1x10.9x2.6”, the top basket size is 17.5x6.5x2.6’’, and the height of the entire storage basket is 14.5”. For more specific size, please refer to the last picture, there is a description of the size.

Q: Do these units go rusty?

I have had mine for approximately 6 months and no it has not gone rusty, but the bottles and clothes that I keep in it are all in their containers. I have not tried to store anything wet.

Q: Is this Freestanding under sink or does it need to be screwed in place?

I didn’t screw it in. it can be free standing.
