Seriously people, this item is AWESOME! The package comes with a belt and a rod holder. The belt is actually pretty average quality(not the type you wear for your pants but it is easily this enough to be worn over your pants belt or around waist). The rod holder though, let me tell you something: not for surf rods. It doesn't matter if you have a 9' surf rod and this thing starts buckling and sagging. It's meant for carrying your rod. I DON'T recommend this as a rod setter, don't use it as that. Use this item to HOLD your rod. It's a rod holder, not rod setter. A 6' to 7' rod is perfect( why walk around with a 7' rod on your side, use 6'). This is a really good item. I have a Ghosthorn fishing bag and this item, I'm easily set for no hands fishing. For those of you who don't know how to wear this rod holder, this is the opportune way. If wearing pants with belt, wear the rod holder belt OVER your pants belt except for the last two loops. Have the buckle of the rod belt over your belt buckle. Now, your first idea would be to put the holder bear your front, NO! Wear the holder directly behind your dominant fishing arm. So, I'm right handed, I'll put the holder not infront of my arm but directly behind my arm. This is so you don't start smacking yourself in the face with your rod but you are able to bend over and have full accessibility. Thanks everyone and happy fishing.

A must have item !
Holds both spinner and bait caster ! It frees up your hand to land fish easier and keep your reel off the ground ! I use two rods , one set up with a frog Or crank bait, and the other in the holder with a Senco worm ! Don’t go fishing without one !!!!! Great gift idea !!!
