Gel V ball point.
We have many cross pens and have always enjoyed using gel over ball point. The quality is exceptional and you get a good value for your money. It does not slow you down on the writing speed, but be careful not to run your hand over it while you’re writing otherwise it will smear. It does dry quickly, but unlike a ball point it is a gel. It is easy to use and install in any pen that you need it for. We usually buy 2 to 3 at a time just to have them on hand. I would highly recommend this.

Smooth writing gel. Only reason for losing a star is that they don't last long enough. Otherwise, my favorite pen.

Smooth print
The ink pen flows smoothly and it does not smear when you move your hand over the print. That's the way I test out a good quality Pen. The price was good for this excellent ink pen. And it seems very sturdy not a flimsy material. I have it in my Cross pen it fits well inside.

Lasts only four sentences
Our son got only four sentences before it quit working. The cheap Bic gets more usage. Shameful. Otherwise, it was a perfect fit.

Refill again and again
Bought this to replace the regular rollerball cartridge in my Cross pen. Deep black ink, writes incredibly smoothly, is currently several months in and showing no sign of running out (which was a concern with a slim pen). Great stuff.
