Soybean flour
The bag was a lot bigger than I thought it would be great quality for the price and it comes in a Mylar bag which is even better because it'll stay fresher longer. I haven't tried it yet I'm just adding it to my stockpile and I love the taste of soy milk so this will be a great addition to the things I already have. And it is a flour so it is mixable

Excellent but no info label
The product is excellent. Dissolves well and can be even used as a nutritional thickener in liquids. I miss the nutritional value label on the bag.

WHAT EXACTLY IS IN THIS BAG? SELLER WILL NOT PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION
I purchased this product as defatted soy flour. I use specialty flours because I pay close attention to the nutritional composition of what I eat. I expect to know what a food product actually contains. I still don’t know. The bag I received has an extraordinarily sparse label. It says “SOY FLOUR,” “Ingredients: 100% soy flour,” and gives the net weight. There is no Nutrition Facts panel on the package I received, and the label does not tell me the protein, carbohydrate, fiber or fat content. More importantly for my purposes, the package itself does not even identify the flour as defatted. I contacted the seller and specifically requested the manufacturer’s specification sheet and/or a Certificate of Analysis so I could verify exactly what this product is and its nutritional composition. I asked three times. Instead of documentation, I received approximate nutritional numbers that appeared to be generic information about defatted soy flour. When I asked for the actual documentation supporting the specifications of this product, I was repeatedly told they were working on it. No specification sheet was provided. Some reviewers have questioned whether this is soy flour at all and one suggested it might be corn flour. I have no evidence that claim is correct, and my own glucose-monitor response does not suggest that I consumed a high-starch flour. But that’s beside the point: customers should not have to conduct experiments on themselves to figure out what is in a bag of food. Other reviews reporting unusual color, rancid product and even insect contamination are also concerning. I cannot verify those reports and am not claiming my particular bag had those problems. But they make adequate labeling, traceability and documentation even more important—not less. This may, in fact, be perfectly good and reasonably priced defatted soy flour. That’s what makes this so frustrating. A legitimate seller should be able to document what it is selling. I am formally requesting a refund. I also believe Amazon should require sellers of food products on its marketplace to provide adequate labeling, product identification and traceability rather than leaving customers to chase sellers for basic information. My question remains remarkably simple: What exactly is in this bag, where did it come from, and what are its verified nutritional specifications? Until the seller can answer those questions with actual documentation rather than approximate numbers, I cannot recommend this product or this seller.

SAVED ME FROM DRIVING 30 MILES BECAUSE I CAN'T BUY THIS WHERE I LIVE
No market here in Auburn, CA, sells soy flour. I would have had to drive 30 miles round trip to buy it in Roseville. I use it for homemade, vegan, full-nutrition dog kibble. I donate this kibble to the pet food bank at the Foothill Unity Center in Monrovia, CA. This kibble saves animals' lives, prevents the heartbreak of placing pets in animal shelters, and decreases deforestation of the Amazon rainforest by decreasing exports of beef from there.

Beware the GREEN
Perhaps I read something wrong or did not read closely enough, but buyers need to know that this is RAW soy flour. It is NEITHER blanched nor toasted, and thus tastes 'green.' So it is best used in 'green drink' blends or with lots of cocoa or another strong flavoring agent (e.g., peanut powder, lemon). Not really what I was wanting. If raw and green IS what you want, the product is clean and well-packaged.

Yess
I use this flour to add some more protein to EVERYRHING. It doesn’t taste at all. It’s just more protein. Love it for pizza and cookies!
