Tastes amazing and makes me feel great
This is not a funny novelty product of a meat dish turned vegan. I legitimately find it delicious and crave it. Seaweed is really important for women who have their periods because we lose so much iron. I think of this when my body craves this caviar. Clearly im a vegan who needs more iron.I have never had real caviar. it has always struck me as cruel and gross. but this caviar doesn’t repulse me in the least. it has a mellow flavor with a snap of brine and maybe a bit of olive flavor? i’m certainly no chef so it’s hard for me to pinpoint why i find this so delicious.i admittedly eat it straight from the spoon and so far, i have eaten one full jar each time. i simply can’t put it down for later. i have enjoyed it on salty chips and on tamales with a bit of vegan cheese.i suppose my desire for it is two fold: it’s scrumptious and i KNOW it’s good for me, giving me micronutrients that the other land based foods i eat don’t provide.I think this will become a staple in my pantry forever more.thank you to the company who makes this for remembering us vegans!

Consistency of solid rubber, customer service is a no-show
This review is for our second jar of this product. The first jar was exactly as described, and very enjoyable. This jar, ordered approximately 3 months later, was vastly different and disappointing. Instead of spheres with a little "pop", these were dense rubbery bits, and there was noticeably more liquid in the jar. I used the one opportunity on Amazon to "contact the seller", have not heard back, and have no other way to express my disappointment than to leave this review. There is no opportunity to "return the item" on Amazon, and there is not a pathway to more communication with the seller/manufacturer. So at 50/50, I will never take another chance on a product I could have loved.

Delicious on charcuterie boards
If you like seaweed snacks, this is delicious! Love to add this on my charcuterie boards. It’s very, very salty, though. Use in moderation.

Sort of like caviar.
Nice taste but not like a caviar. Works on crackers. Not too salty.

Changed the product
Little seaweed "dots"! . Unlike real caviar it has no fishy taste, (which I actually love) its just mildly salty and has a bit of a chewy crunch, no pop. This is more of a fun visual and textural garnish.Unfortunately when I had first purchased this in-store a while back, it was packed full of the caviar beads and now it is mostly oil with very little product in the jar.I added a picture of an unopened container. You can see that there is very little product and tons of oil in a thick glass jar.Do not buy this

Excellent replacement!
This has all the things I love about caviar. The texture is amazing and after all, I feel that a caviar replacement is really about replacing that texture. It does not have a very strong flavor, which I like as well. It looks beautiful! If I didn’t know, I would think it was caviar from the look of it.

Really Bad! Truly a SHAME!
I love Season's other products (buy their boneless skinless sardines regularly) but this is AWFUL! I took 2 bites and threw it out (second bite was to make sure it was really THAT bad). Looked very promising - good consistency, not oily, etc. Okay until I tasted it. Initially bland-only taste is a slightly unpleasant mildly salty unidentifiable taste. Then it has an especially nasty middle and after-taste (that lingers). Might be okay for a tiny tiny bit as a garnish to give people the visual and mental illusion that caviar was used but not to consume as a caviar substitute. Truly "icky" What a shame from a great brand.
