This product works and others may too, but this works for my girl so I'm stocking to it. My girl has allergies and she takes appaquel and it works a well. The rx medication works to stop the digging and scratching and the fish oil helps with minor allergies or anxiety associated with her allergies. No licking and chewing on her feet and ears. So I recommend nutri-vet along side the rx meds you and your vet decide on if at all. Try this first you never know.

My 5-year-old dog was shedding a lot and was getting lots of dandruff due to her extremely dry skin, so the vet recommended giving her fish oil. This one was the first one we tried, and I will not try another one. I am extremely happy with the results. Her coat is now so shiny. She sheds A LOT less, and we haven't seen the dry spots on her skin in a long time. We've only been using it for a few months but I started to see results within the first couple of weeks. The tablets are quite big, though, and you can't cut them up because they are soft gels, so we have to place them in the back of her throat so she does not spit it out. So if your dog does not like taking pills and you know they'll fight you for putting things in their mouth, these might be just a little too large for you. Otherwise, these have given us great results. The bottle brings 100, and we only give her one a day (she's 45 lbs) so for the price, we get a good 3 month supply.
