excellent product very easy to use love the that it is fan cooled works great for my large batteries 60v great price for the money. a must have. I'm going to be buying more.

... and fast! I actually keep this in the trunk of my Ridgeline as I often need to recharge one of two Ridgeline batteries, when I'm working on a driveway project i.e., cutting and grinding out cracks for repair. It will fully charge a dead battery in about 20 minutes. Good buy.

CHARGES THE BATTERIES

I have several higher capacity flexvolt batteries and the standard charger took forever to get them up to full charge. This charger has changed that. Does a great job keeping my batteries ready to go when I am working on large or demanding projects.

DeWalt makes a dizzying array of chargers for their tool batteries. This is the one you want if you want to recharge a DeWalt FLEXVOLT 20V/60V battery. It has the power to charge a FLEXVOLT battery in a reasonable time, and the cooling fan needed to do so safely. It'll also recharge standard DeWalt 20V batteries more quickly than the standard 20V chargers they include in tool bundles. The one downside is that the fan is loud while charging. It's fine out in the garage. Could be an issue if your charger is in the living room. Unlike third-party chargers, this genuine DeWalt charger is UL listed, so it's less likely to burn your house down, and it won't give your homeowner's insurance an excuse not to pay out if it does. It also won't overcharge your batteries, damaging them and possibly causing that fire.

Output at 8 amps charged my 5AH Dewalt 20V MAX batteries in no time. Way faster than DCB107 or DCB115 chargers I've used. Fan cooled unit; Charger and battery stayed cool during charging. Quality feel to plastic and solid construction. Great charger. Definitely worth it. Liked it so much and price was so good bought two.

This charger is great. I have a number of other DeWALT chargers as well, and this is by far my favorite. When I'm working on a project, or at a job site, this is my go-to charger for getting a battery charged up and back in service ASAP. I still use my basic slow chargers for overnight charging or charging multiple packs at once, but I'd say the DCB118 is a must have for anyone who depends on having their tools up and running when they need them. My one complaint is the fan is a little loud, so there's been a few times where I've had to move the charger elsewhere while batteries were charging, but that's literally my only complaint and I'd definitely recommend this charger.

Good price with good quality. It charges the battery’s very quick like it says. Noise is ok, it has a fan to keep it cool.

This product came with a UK plug instead of a German plug. Waste of my time and money

This charger is extremely fast, you can charge DeWalt batteries in half the time vs. the starter kit chargers. Definitely an asset on the job site when you need the batteries changed in a hurry, minimizes downtime. Only downside to this product is the internal fan, it is extremely noisy and can get annoying after awhile!
