Cat-proof!
We had a young kitten that loved to chew on cords. He chewed through about 3 regular charging cords before we decided to get something more heavy duty. This did the job! He tried to chew on it but it was too hard for him so he left it alone. Now that he's grown up, he no longer has that habit anymore. But we just got a new puppy... so this will be helpful again! Highly recommend.

Great cable, but a tight fit.
Really dig this cable! Seems like it will be durable, but without the stiffness of most larger cables. Appear to get good charge rates out of it, as well.My only complaint is that it's a REALLY tight fit in my note 7.... at first I thought I was going to break it by forcing it in, so I tried on another device I didn't care much about, and it was a tight fit but eventually went in, so I tried with more force on the phone and it connected.Every time I go to plug it in, I feel like I'm going to break something, but so far I haven't... and I suppose I'd prefer that to being too loose and disconnecting or falling out.

Unsafe for most USB-C deevices
This cord is not safe to use with a Pixel phone. It barely charges my phone, and heats it up on the process. Not approved by Bensen from Google.

NOT for HIGH SPEED data use!!! Very slow data transfer speeds.
Yes, the build quality on these cables feels great. A steel cable?? Cool, right?? BUT....I would say they are for charging only, or for SLOW data transfer only. I have a SAMSUNG Portable T3 SSD drive (best portable drive to date!!) which tests at 340MB/s consistently with the cable it shipped with. I wanted a spare so I bought this one from G-Cord Exclusive. My drive seemed slow so I tested it exactly as before: 38MB/s. That's about 90% SLOWER. Not acceptable. In their defense, it is listed as a sync and charging cable only. I suppose it will do those jobs nicely. I'm still only giving two stars as I feel the description should have been more clear by saying, "NOT for high speed data transfer. NOT for USB 3.0 speeds."

My iPad 2 air doesn't like it. My ipad mini w/ retina display tolerates it but not without an iPad base. It'll charge up to like 30% all day. And die faster. Bad sign. I only use in emergencies.

Cable is not solid steel but more of a springy wrapping. Still good though.
I use this cable pretty regularly to connect my phone to my PC as my PC does not have USB-C ports. The steel braiding is more spring like than a solid cable like I was expecting. This does not appear to have any negative aspects other than when pulling the cable out of a port, the springy cable will feel like it is stretching even though this is just the braiding. Still this is the cable I use regularly because it does not tangle easily and it matches the brushed metal of my phone.

Not what I was expecting. Little bit deceitful marketing.
Pretty nice, been using for a month now. Seems to be holding up.Important note that the cord isn't all stainless steel. Its just a normal cable that appears to be wrapped with thin stainless steel. If you were to grab the ccor with both hands in the middle and pull apart, the metal wrapping would bend and shed from the cord. (Kind of hard to explain...) I was anticipating the cable to be stiff and rigid, perhaps bendable/mold-able, but it is not. The cable is like any other, it just looks shiny.
