Great Blinds at a Great Price
I love these blinds. The material is good quality and the physical installation was straight-forward. I measured correctly and my room is almost completely blacked out (I opted not to get the side pieces that help with it further). There is some light around the sides and top, but very little. The only real "downside" is that the instructions for the smart system are pretty basic. I opted for the P440 motor which connects directly with certain supported Amazon devices. Make sure that you verify your device is on the list, as I mistook the Echo (4th Generation) for the Echo Dot (which is not supported, at least not directly). Once I purchased a correct device, I was able to get the device to sync. Anyway, to sync the device with the Echo, you have to press a button 3x rapidly, and then hold for 3 seconds and the motor will jog, indicating you did it properly. You then say "Alexa, discover my devices". This step took me multiple tries and I eventually powered off the blinds (and somehow accidentally reset the settings on them). Once I did manage to get my Echo to connect to them, I had issues with the voice commands as well. While the instruction manual said I should say "Alexa, open/close the blinds", Alexa responded that the device did not support that command. However, I was able to say "Alexa, open the blinds to X%" (0 being fully opened, 100 being completely down) and that worked. I eventually added custom commands in the Alexa app under the routine option for opening and shutting the blinds (and now I can say "Alexa, open the blinds"), as well as a custom routine to close the blinds at sunset. You will need to set commands in the Alexa app, as there is no actual functions shown (unlike on/off for lights and other devices). All-in-all, I find them a great value for the money, just make sure you are somewhat tech savvy, as the syncing with Alexa is a little difficult. The remote worked immediately for me and is pretty simple, with an up/down/stop function.

Accurate fit and great out of the box experience.
Shipping: was much faster than predicted when we ordered and coming from China. Arrived in 3 days from ordering through UPS. Quality out of the box was amazing. Well packaged. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. (We liked the little mascot and attention to detail in the instruction booklet. Well done!) Material is all metal construction and the white looks so clean. Set Up: It worked out of the box and already pre programmed to our size specifications. Just pop the batteries in and it rolled down slowly stopping right at the bottom of the window almost perfect. Only Gripe: You can hear the motor. Not too loud but noticeable. Caveat: I have not connected to my Alexa yet but plan to soon. Our first time ordering such a custom item on Amazon for our home. Keep up the good quality work, we may order for all our other bedroom windows.

Great blinds at a good price!
First of all I would like to say that these are very nice blinds for a fraction of the price of more well known brand name motorized shades. Things I like the most about these shades. 1. Seem to be well made 2. Option for the solar panels to charge them is a game changer in my mind. Just hang them and never worry about the battery running low - I highly recommend taking advantage of this option. 3. Remote control came preprogrammed for all my shades. This was super helpful for me and I had the 4 shades up and working in less than 30 minutes. 4. Google and Smartthings integration is awesome. I can tell my blinds to go up and down whenever I need them to. I opted for the blinds that didn't have Alexa integration built in bc this is a Google home but if you buy a Bond Bridge you will have no issues integrating to Smartthings and Google. 5. They have worked almost flawlessly for the 3 months I have had them up. I say almost bc every once in a while one of the blinds won't go up BUT I am not sure if that is the Bond's fault or the blinds but it is almost certainly an issue with the RF command not quite making it to the blinds. It happens so infrequently though to really made a fuss over. 1 negative is that the blinds are pretty loud (especially when 4 are going up/down at a time) BUT this is clearly disclosed in the buying process that these aren't quiet blinds. I think they might have a model that is but I didn't want to kick out the extra cash for the quiet and honestly the noise doesn't bother me but I am not an easily annoyed by sounds type of person so take that as you will. Overall, these blinds have been great! At this point I would highly recommend those on the fence to go ahead and make the purchase. I had some reservation about quality with them coming from China but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with their customer experience and the quality (top notch). Go ahead and make the purchase and save some cash and still get a great product!

These work Great! Install has some considerations - Points to Ponder
I ordered these window shades because we needed something over our new windows and new kitchen remodel but didn't want to take away from the clean lines with a lot of overpowering window dressing. if you got to look at the big box stores, motorized blinds end up being quite higher than these turned out to be, which is why we risked doing this via Amazon. Risk so far was unfounded! I have some details and points to ponder: 1) we ordered the sample swatch kit to help make a decision on fabric for the shade. Don't be dismayed when you order this - and it says you will receive it in a month. Not the case. ordered the sample kit and it was here in three days. so that accelerated our ability to order. 2) when you provide measurements - make sure and follow their naming conventions in the ordering sections. they have a format they want it in. the edge of the housing on the shade is about half inch on the motor side and about 1/4 inch on the other. 3) within the sections for the custom measurements and features you want - there are a few extras to consider. one is the type of remote. i went with the 15 channel and the battery pack shades. you DO NOT need a remote with each blind, one will rule them all or individually. i did get two remotes as we may get more of these for other areas of our house. but one would control up to 15 or 16. will also work with Alexa or Google via their devices coupled with a smart outlet if you chose. i didn't choose that as i didn't want these to be plugged in all the time. 4) we chose inside mount on our windows, and not outside/wall mount to avoid the holes that get done over and over for different window treatments on the walls. CONSIDER THIS - the brackets only hold the shade from the top - not the sides. so if you intend to affix to the side of the jamb you cannot. in our case, i did have to make a modification to the spring loaded brackets. the picture of the bracket with my hand shows that our jamb is too shallow to use the hole in the top of the bracket. and the other holes would have drilled into the window casing itself, so that was problematic. i drilled a hole in each back further on the top - between the two springs, making sure not the obstruct the slide of the clip that grabs the blind. took about 5 minutes to drill out six brackets. 5) if you have a window that is set into a wall well, such as the picture of the smaller window with the plants above, when you MEASURE - be sure to take the smaller of the two measurements between where the blind will actually sit and the outer edge of the wall box. mine was JUST a hair too long to just insert the blind. i had to angle it and then get it into the window area where it would sit, then tap it up into place. My fault - but it worked. just have some touch up on the inside of the wall. 6) you have the option to order a usb cord (5 or 6 foot) when customizing your blinds for charging. that would be extra and unneeded as please know that EACH BLIND you order will have a cord with it. it DOES NOT come with a charging block. any block will work. 7) my shades seemed to be charged almost fully when i received them. states to charge for 10 hour then you'll get 3-6 mos use between charging depending on use. will update on that when i get there 8) Remote does NOT come with the "watch" sized battery needed to run it. they are CR2450s. 9) my blinds seemed to be pre-programmed to the remote with positions already. pretty straightforward. and works really well. has an upper and lower setting you can program to for an automated open and shut level if you wish. you can control each separately or all of them at once (Channel 0) 10) Installation consideration - make sure you go in from end of blind about 5 inches or so if you can. it's easier to get the blind latched up into the clip. they are spring loaded, you put the back side edge of the casing into the clip on each end, and push in - they move back under spring load so you can then get the front side up and into the stationary clip and it is that easy. 11) i chose the weighted rod at the bottom. this is a must have in my opinion. five bucks a blind i think that was 12) you can choose which side the motor is on on each of your blinds. that does not however make a difference on the profile of the blind, only that the receiving wire and charging port are at that end. tuck the wire behind the shade and its invisible. (it's about 3 inches long) 13) SHIPPING - when you order your blinds - you will get a shipping date of arrival a month out. i figured that would hold true since they are custom made. however we got them in 7 days. 14) if you're ordering multiple shades/blinds, and you receive them and open, mine came in multiple boxes. only one will have your installation instructions if you ordered them at the same time on the same order. although when i thought they had no instructions because i hadn't opened all the boxes, looking at the mounting hardware (wood screws with sheetrock anchors) and then the bracket - you really don't need any for mounting instructions if you've installed window treatments before. All in all - i was worried about custom blinds and if the measurements translated right - and i was pleased. they fit exactly as i had hoped. These are not cheap blinds, but they are more cost effective than their counterparts at the home improvement stores, which in my research could end up being 1/3-2/3 more expensive than these. giving these a 4 out of five for NOW. reasons being that the mounting brackets aren't as universal as they could be(could have additional mounting holes for different jamb depths) and the fact that i cannot comment on battery life yet.

Great Value and Ease of Ordering/Installation
I ordered 10 of these shades for my living room windows, which are basically floor to ceiling and span two walls. I am impressed based on price, ease of ordering, timeliness of receiving my order, ease of installation and overall look and feel. If I had one fault with Yoolax it would be the lack of fabric options. I would have liked to see a linen in beige which is fairly standard with most shade retailers. They do offer photo duplication onto the shades, which is very cool. But ultimately, not for me. After doing a lot of research and contacting multiple big chain retailers, I decided to give Yoolax a try. The big chain stores were 125% more. If price is important, then this is a good option. I opted to receive fabric samples prior to ordering, and settled on the "pure white" blinds. Next, I took exact measurements (all would be inside mount), and double checked my measurements. Then I ordered them. There are multiple options, including solar recharging, valances, mounting, etc., so it took about an hour to measure and order. Yoolax, confirmed my order and measurements. It took less than two weeks to get the blinds. I was surprised at how fast they arrived. The packaging included three remotes, 10 blinds (largest being 55" x 84"), mounting screws and hardware, charging cords and easy to understand instructions (only one typo). Once the hardware was installed (very easy compared to other window coverings I've installed), the blinds snapped into the hardware. The remotes were already programmed, but the instructions were easy to understand, if you wanted to program them differently. It turned out I only needed one remote. The remote gives you the option to raise/lower the shades individually or as a group. You can also set the remote to a fixed setting (say halfway). Between unpacking and installation, it was under 2 hours to install all 10 blinds by myself. They work just as expected. I'm extremely happy with these blinds.

Best product I have ordered from Amazon
These are one of the best products I have bought from Amazon. I bought these 3 years ago and till this day, these are still stylish and work like new. We got them for our whole house. We only charge them once a year and we never had issues with them. People come to our house and just love them. The company sent us the exact sizes we gave to them and they fit each window perfectly. Highly Highly recommend. They are soo good that I had to come back here 3 years later to make sure I gave them a great review!!!

Pleasantly surprised!
I needed a 106" blind, which is bigger than you can select on Amazon. Reached out to Yoolax... they quickly answered and gave me my price. Delivery: I can't remember how long delivery took, but it seemed really fast. I think it was less than 2 weeks. Installation: Super simple. I will say I'm pretty handy, but this was an inside mount (normally harder) and hanging from the top. I installed 4 brackets (remember, 106") in less than five minutes, and the blind clipped in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The only issue I had was my issue, in that the charging cable would fall under the blind and get caught up during closing... I just had to tuck the cable out of the way. My blind is a white blackout blind and it's 100% blackout. I bought some rails around the edges to prevent light bleed and now we can sleep soundly even during the middle of the day! App/Alexa: I never got the app to work properly, but was able to set it up through Alexa as a new device. The app could never find the blind, but Alexa could. I assume because I didn't get the app working, Alexa was a little cumbersome. If I say "open the bedroom blind", it moves about 1/2". Same with "close the bedroom blind". You would of course have to name the blind whatever you see fit. But I was able to create a Routine that says "raise the bedroom blind" and it opens all the way. No issues since setup, besides Alexa randomly deleting my routine one time. Customer service: my first blind had an issue in that the weight at the bottom was installed crooked so when the bottom sat on the sill, there was a huge wrinkle on one side, as there was an extra inch of material on that side. I contacted Yoolax, they sent some videos on possible remedies. Those didn't work, and they sent me a new blind. Super helpful! Extras: I got the solar panel and highly recommend it. You never have to worry about charging the blind. If Yoolax gave me a deal, I would literally put these on all my windows.

Good product but setup is a nightmare
I have a lot of very large windows in my house which makes it difficult to open and close all of my blinds manually each day. I have them paired with an Alexa and set on a schedule so they open each morning at sunrise and close with a voice command at night. Now that they are set up I’m overall pretty happy with them. They look and work as well as similar brand name brand blinds that are double the price. The only issues are that sometimes when using voice commands, only some of the blinds will close and you have to repeat yourself several times, and that there is a small gap between the edge of the blind and the edge of the window so they’re not really suitable for places where you need complete privacy. The biggest issue I had with these though was the setup. I did eventually get these all functioning but it was pretty unreasonably time consuming. The blinds don’t come with any instructions so if you have a question, the only way to get it answered is to submit it to the vendor through Amazon. The blinds are theoretically supposed to be preset with a remote when you get them but half of mine were set to open when told to close and vice Versa so I have to reset all of these and reprogram them. The Yoolax customer service team is pretty responsive and tried to be helpful but they tended to give really vague instructions like “just reverse the direction” without explaining how to actually do it. I finally got them to send me an actual pdf instruction manual and after that set up was really easy but I’m not sure why they don’t just include this with the product in the first place. A few months later, I ordered another Yoolax blind for a new window I had put in. I theoretically ordered the same blind as I had previously but the new one was completely different than the first set I received and was also programmed incorrectly so I had to reach out and get the “new” set of instructions to reprogram this blind as it didn’t work according to the instructions of the previous set. All blinds are set up and working now and overall I do still think these were a great deal for what they are. However, they’re still not cheap by any means (was about 6k to do the whole house) and I feel like for that price the setup should be a little more seamless. If this were fixed I’d give them 5 stars. If you’ve got some time on your hands for a project these are great but if you’re strapped for time and only need a few blinds I’d probably spend the extra money and go through a local company that sells and installs electric blinds
