So far, so good.
I had the water line on my refrigerator door crack and leak. Rather than disassemble the door to replace the line, I wanted to cut out the leaky section and connect the ends together. I tried a straight coupler, but since this is at the bend to head up the hinge, too much stress on the connection. I replaced the straight coupler with this and so far, it's okay. It's only been 3 weeks (and the straight coupler lasted 5 months before starting to pull out), so...My only complaint is that the locking rings were impossible for me to install. Perhaps I don't know the tricks.

It simply works
Works exactly as expected. Installation was fast and simple. However, compared to the water line size (1/4 inch OD), the connector looked huge. Keep this in consider for installation where aesthetics or visibility is of concern.
