Review: So easy, a millennial can do it! - Millennial lady here with zero plumbing experience! This trap was SUPER EASY to install by myself (with some YouTube). ZERO leaks! The old trap under my sink started leaking after I had to replace my sink drain, and I couldn't get it to reseal where the water rests above the joint. Honestly, since it was just plastic, I have no idea how it held a seal in the first place. According to the videos I was following, the plastic-only connection was normal, and it's just a matter of getting it aligned perfectly, but it just wasn't working for me. I even tried using teflon tape, but I couldn't get a seal. So, since my trap was old, I decided to see if there were better options, and that's when I found this trap. This one actually uses rubber gasket for all connections, creating a better seal! I installed it, and it worked FIRST TRY! No leaks, none! I even bought a little water-detector for under my sink because I didn't trust myself, and it hasn't gone off. Thank you for putting a little extra care into the design of this trap! Excited to do my other bathrooms now.

**Q: Our outlet pipe is higher than our sink drain, so water sits above the drain rim. Will this product solve that problem?**
A: Yes. We had the same problem. Our new sink was lower than the older sink and it wasn't going to drain correctly. This solved the issue without having to do major construction.

**Q: does it have a gasket in the center. The others I have tried dont**
A: The center is flared so no gasket is necessary.

**Q: how long is the waste end piece ( from the trap to the wall )?**
A: It is only about 8" from the center of the slip joint fitting.

**Q: The "threaded adapter" that comes with the kit; is the waste-side a slip joint or threaded? (can't tell from the pic)**
A: It is a slip joint. (Glue joint)  great trap.
