Buy this to expand my gold bangle and it works! The hammer is stinky, but it's not a big deal.

I wasn't sure if this would work for me. All the videos show wooden bracelet sizing dowels. But this was easy to work with and I've made wire wrap bangles, fashion charm bangles and bracelets like Alex and Ani style. They are the correct size now and not too small or just a bit too large. I've hammered a few items but to my delight, I love the bracelets.Very happy.

I'm a professional jeweler and this works well for rounding out Bangles. Not mention to be used for forming or heavy hammer work. Get a strong metal one for that and don't complain about this one not wo long, yeah?

This is a good product for what it is meant for. Not useful at all for those that need a visual for measurements such as cm or inches. The HK means nothing nor do the small numbers. It is meant for a reference only. The larger numbers are the diameter.Here is a good explanation that I received from another website:The mandrel has two columns of numbers. The bigger numbers that have the symbol at the top of a circle with a line across it refer to the inner diameter of a bracelet.For example, the 13 matches the 56.5 on the other column. 56.5 are mm which is the inner measurement from side to side of the bracelet.As far as the smaller numbers (HK), they are just there to mark a reference. They do not measure anything. For example if in your records, you have 7.06" which corresponds to 13 and 56.5mm in the other column, you will know that 13 is for your 7.06" bracelet. The smaller numbers are not too relevant they are just there to provide an aid. You can ignore that column and simply use the bigger number column.PS - I found a great mandrel from Fire Mountain Gems that is in inches! It is definitely more expensive but useful for those that do not need diameter.

The moment I saw this combo package I had to have it. The mandrel for sizing was such a major plus for me and having the hammer (with two different material sides of use) to smooth out and align the various wires makes this a must have for me.
