Terraria Tips, Hints, Cheats, Strategy And Walk-through

Terraria, The Ultimate Guide is a misleading title. There was quite a bit of information that I would have liked to have seen in an "ultimate guide" that was not included. It did have some helpful information about the different game areas and game progression. It would have been nice if the pictures were in color.This book had lists of different enemies found in different areas but no real info about them aside from their names. It did include a list of bosses and some info about them which is helpful.I was hoping for some item and crafting descriptions, ore and tool comparisons, and some detailed info about NPC housing, preferences and uses. It was an ok book but certainly not an Ultimate Guide.

I guess I missed that this book isn't printed in color. That would make a huge difference probably in the eye candy department. Looks like the only Terraria book out there, though, so I'm glad they published it. My son says he likes the book, though, and has learned some helpful tips. He just doesn't pour over it daily as with his Mindcraft tips books.

Hmmmm, definitely for very beginners. If you've spent even a couple hours on the online Terraria Wiki page, or played with more experienced friends - this guide is not likely to be much use. It is clearly not professionally done (black and white - awkward and repetitive grammar). There are some good things here, and it is nice to have an actual book with you I suppose - but the online wiki is so much more interactive - and all the info is there. This book is not long, and pretty spare on information.I'm sure my kids will be thrilled with it to some degree....but would recommend the online sites over this.

Kid didn’t read that the book was black and white. Now he knows to do his research when making an Amazon purchase. BTW, he has no input at all on the content. He’s 8. He also learned about self-publishing.So I give the overall experience a 4.5 for life lessons and an education in free market economics. The kid gives it a 2 because it’s printed in black and white.

This is just the type of guide I was looking for. Surprisingly, there are not a lot of good resources online for Terraria so I was pleasantly surprised to find this guide on Amazon. The guide is comprehensive and it gives you pretty much everything you need to know to be sucessful. I particularly liked how the guide went in depth explaining all the different "biomes" and how to be successful with each one.Overall, a great guide for an awesome game.

This was a good Terraria guide, but I would only advise it to beginners. It would be great if there was an advanced Terraria guide that went very in depth and was for experts, because I know that that is exactly what I and other Terraria gamers need.

My sons (ages 8 and 10) love this book. Lots of tips and hints. It does look like something printed off the desktop as there are no color photos inside - wish it were more polished. Once they read through it, they were done as there is nothing enticing to keep looking at. All the photos are screen shots in black and white. Still, great hints that they enjoyed discovering.

My kiddo likes this book a lot. Just one note, it's for the PC version of the game. Not Pocket Edition or XBox. But there is enough cross over to make it worth it.

firstly i would like to say about the book being folded to fit through my letter box, secondly the book is in black and white and just pages printed on paper and stuck in a book cover. this is not even a book, it is a magazine and a really poor one at that. i recommend you don't buy this item as you more than likely receive it bent and in no way actually resembles a book or guide.

This book is too short.A lot of the content can be found online on wikis and forums, that said the author has made a decent attempt in condensing and highlighting certain key elements.

Badly printed on thin 80gsm photocopier paper, the stuff they use in printers. Even the print quality is poor, black and white not colour. Crap. Not even one star so I'm giving it a big turd.

Great tips but it's shame the images are all black and white, blurry, and look like photocopied screen grabs!
