I love this saw! It is not heavy and is always sharp! And, because it is not a very large saw, it fits into tight spaces easily.

This hand saw is fantastic. It is incredibly sharp and cuts through wood smoothly with minimal effort. The soft-grip handle is very comfortable, making it easy to use for extended periods.

This is a very good little saw. At only 14 inches, it is handy to keep by my work bench for finishing cuts I start with my circular saw or making a single cut that is not worth getting out and electric circular saw. So, its handy. Now what makes this saw particularly interesting is that the teeth are set wider than typical. I have a lot of handsaws to compare with and have spent years sharpening handsaws with a saw set and file. The wide set teeth make this less likely to bind in the kerf and easier to push. Plus the teeth being sharpened on three sides actually do cut faster than a traditionally ground saw blade. It is priced right and is a good bargain. You cannot resharpen it, but it is inexpensive enough that it should not matter. It also fits in a toolbox easily so you can take it along. The handle is thick enough to give a comfortable grip. All in all I recommend it and bet you will like it.

Havent tested on wood but for pir insulation its the best hand saw we have found, just wish it was a little longer.
