I don’t understand why the criticism of this dress, it’s absolutely beautiful. I don’t understand where people are saying it’s boxy because it’s not. It is very soft dark bluish dress. I sized down because it’s a sweater dress and they usually fit me big so I ordered a medium and I weigh 170lbs. I was disappointed because the pictures show a belt and it does not come with a belt. It still looked fine on me and I received lots of compliments.

The media could not be loaded.  So disappointed. Had this dress in my cart for a year and finally snapped on prime day. I've purchased from chicwish before many times from their website and it's usually fine. ThIS is nOt FinE. First of all, the belt, though I wasn't counting on it in the first place, consists of a [cheap] silver buckle with two fabric straps attached on the sides. There's no way to properly hide them anywhere. You just lace it through the buckle and tie a bow I suppose. Also, the pleated section does not wrap halfway around like it should in the product photos. Thirdly, this is a wrap dress?? None of the photos are wrap dresses and nothing in the title hints at the fact it is a wrap dress. There is a small button/button hole on either side. I usually love wrap dresses...but this?? This is a cardigan at best. The black fabric is the cheap kind where, even if you iron with steam, none of the wrinkles budge. The ombre bit would be alright after a wash I guess. The length is laughable. That's the reason I caved and took photos. The sleeves as well. I'd say they're 3/4 sleeves, but super baggy.

It is a knit, so the fabric has complete stretch but not snug so go down a couple of sizes. I range between a small to a medium and ended up with the xs. But the outfit is really cute, and fits to a bunch of different occasions. Even if you don’t know what’s going to be, this dress is perfect. Church. Brithday party. Date. Office. All of it.

Bought it as a surprise for my wife and she loves it; however the large DOES fit like a large and not the size 8-10 as noted on the size information. Will be exchanging.

The dress is very heavy and clingy not flattering at all as others have said. I am not overweight but it just clings to you, I guess because it is so heavy. I can usually wear any style of dress but this is not for me. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is the cute color of the pleats. I will be sending back. Not for every body type at all. Any tummy at all then this is not for you. Looks great on the model and if you have a model's body type you will be fine.

I was a little worried about ordering this item after reading one review about getting a completely wrong dress. But I liked the look and I needed a dress for the fall wedding, so I took my chance. I felt good in it and got so many compliments.

Great dress, wore to a wedding. Rec'd several compliments. No belt. Had to purchase separately.

Such a pretty dress. Very flattering. Belt was a joke. While I did have a bunch of black belts that could have worked, I wore it without and got TONS of compliments on my outfit. Can’t wait to wear it again in the winter.

I really wanted to like this dress because it's a pretty concept, but the execution left a lot to be desired.Upon arrival, the packaging had already been ripped open and the belt was missing, leaving behind tissue paper that had once been used as wrapping for the belt.Since I'm typically a Size 12, I ordered an XL since this is advertised on Chicwish as the appropriate size. It was much too large, with the armpits and bodice sagging under the weight of the dress. It's a sweater dress so it certainly clings, and really needs the belt to define the waist and offset the boxy look. For some reason the neckline is twice as wide as it should be, stretching out to mid-shoulder versus the turtleneck shown on the model.The hemming is rough on the sweater material, and the gradient fabric is printed on the outside of a thick, white material—not the flowy dress I was under the impression of.If you're a smaller size, already have a suitable belt, and need something warm—maybe this dress could work for you. Unfortunately I felt the need to return this dress.
