Sports Big Pump for Kite, Mattress or Pool

This in my opinion is hands down the best pump on the market. I can now pump up my 17m kite in about the same time it takes me to pump up my 7m with a traditional kite pump. It also is much taller than most pumps, which at 6'2" is way more comfortable when pumping up kites. I particularly like this variant of the big pumps as it is easy to see on the beach and the connectors fit snug to the valves on the kite, making it easy to read the PSI on the gauge on the top. The pump hose is much more burly than many of the other big pumps on the market. Overall, they hit the ball out of the park on this one, I plan to use this one for years to come.

I've got a ton of kitesurfing pumps in my house from the years of doing it, and I can say this is the best pump I have owned by far. It now is so easy to pump, that sometimes I want to pump other people's kites because of that.Hose is nice and flexible just enough. to not pinch and break, unlike the cheaper pumps' hoses. String with the hook is of right length so that you can lock the handle from going up and down while transporting it.One disappointing fact that the hose unglued from the tip that connects to the pump after roughly 20 uses. So I just put a pigtail instead which for now holds it from getting out. If that doesn't work long term, would need to explore the adjustable hose clamp route with some silicone for additional air insulation. Hope this is addressed in the next product revision.

Hose is horrible, especially if you kite in a cold environment. Not flexible and keeps popping off of kite. It bends the inflation point 45-60 degrees which can't be good for the kite. I've had the other brand's 2.0 and loved it.Primary reason I bought this pump instead of the other brand this time, is that I thought if I ever broke the hose I could use one of my spares from old pumps since the connection looks the same. NOPE! leaks terribly when using other "standard" hoses. I tried 2 old hoses and both leak..Back to trying to make the provided hose work:I lightly scuffed up the inflation tip with some fine grit sandpaper to make it less slick. Not sure if it helped much.I also tried shortening the leash length in half. Helped a little.Best thing to do is to use the 'Hulk' method to get a little more flexibility out of it. Take the hose off the pump, put the hose behind your shoulders, get angry, turn green, and yank on that bad boy. Seriously, go for it like you're bench pressing your max at the gym.Anyway, for what I paid for this pump, I've spent waaay too much time screwing around with it trying to make it work like it should. I'm still not happy with it..Going back to buy the 'other guys' 2.0

Tried a lot of pumps in the Dominican Republic filling up my Kite over the years. This and the Core pump were my favorite. Lots of reviews trashing the hose. It's heavy duty and perfect. There's every type of connector with this, which is why I went with this over the Core. On one of my kites, I used to jam in the valve, now I can screw onto the wider input valve. Very little resistance, but resistance is mostly a lubrication/maintenance issue, not the pumps fault. Gotta take it apart and clean it and oil the parts. Very solid construction. Highly recommended.

Easy pump action and it pumped up my 12 meter kite in half the time and effort of a standard pump. Highly recommend.

Great pump no issues

Hate the hose, way too stiff. Popped off the kite valve every 3rd pump. THEN, using my Hulk like anger strength with the product I was able to stretch the hose length wise and lengthen the hose about an entire foot in length, NOW, the hose is actually flexible quite a bit and works much better. The hose is actually super durable and strong. Why should I have to do this to make the product usable?? It IS now however a great pump with good ergonomics, no more back pain from pumping.

This was an awesome pump - the twice we used it.....large and fast. But the third outing wasn't so hot - the air is pulling through the handle. Its broken. And only used twice.

Its a mater of time until your hose breaks 10cm from the pump connection leaving the whole pump useless as all my other old hoses don't fit the connection on the pump. I had about 4-6 months of minimal use on this pump before the hose breaks. I unscrewed the hose from the pump everytime, but it started leaking and eventually broke. Been using it with duct tape on the hose for the last year. I borrow other pumps, but I can make it work with one hand in a pinch but getting the kites to 10 psi, good luck. Fix your hose Ocean Rodeo.
