Just what you need to check your Blood Pressure
I had a arm cuff BP monitor and wanted something smaller and simpler to use overall. My arm cuff has been checked by my GP and is accurate.. So I of course referenced this wrist cuff system to my existing one, and was happy to see that it gives accurate readings.Simple to slip on your wrist, with a part of the bracelet having some curved metal support, so happily hangs on while you sort out the strap to secure it. Easy instructions come the the unit to set up date and time, so each reading logs into a memory, which you can view past reading later.I suffered a strike, left-side paralysis in the summer 2019, and since then have been prescribed blood pressure medication,,, It is helpful to have your own BP machine at home so you can randomly di your own reading, say once or twice a week to ensure the medication is doing it job and if you notices increases you can then approach your GP about getting medication adjusted to keep you within the right range for health life.High Blood Pressure, doesn't have an real noticeable symptoms, and the first time you find out you BP is way too high, is when a vein or artery explodes, leaking vital blood into your body and away from supply the Brain and other organs you cannot sustain a blood flow to. If at this point you don't know your BP and pass out from lack of blood circulating, it' unlikely without collapsing in a hospital itself, that Doctors and nurse can save you.The older you get, if you drink alcohol, smoke, don't exercise properly, eat healthy, then BP is going to certainly play a possible factor in killing youThis unit comes in a nice robust plastic box the keep it safe.Using it, simply hang the rigid part of the strap over your wrist, this supports the unit while you take you time to use the Velcro strapping to fully wrap your arm.. Making sure you raise you arm so the unit is level approximately with your heart.. Then a single press of the RED BUTTON and away the machine goes all by itself, pumping up, to first get the systolic measure where the blood flow stops, then starts to deflate till the blood flood returns giving the diastolic reading..Finally the unit all the time is measuring you pulse... After it completely deflates, you get a decent sized readout of systolic and diastolic pressures and heart rate (pulse)If you are unsure what the reading actually means there are several online resources where you can input your figure, age, height, weight etc and the site will return an answer to where your readings are normal, or worse TOO HIGH and if you get a HIGH reading, I would suggest using the unit to get a weeks worth of accurate numbers, then email them to your, so they can decide whether you need tablets to reduce your blood pressure, which ultimately could SAVE YOUR LIFE.

Very inaccurate. Don't waste your money.
I bought this on the good reviews as I have had blood pressure issues for many years. After seeing my doctor for high blood pressure recently and using his monitor, I decided to buy the same one that he has, as the readings were different. I'm glad I did, because as you can see from the photos, the wrist monitor on the right is reading a lot higher. I have done this a few times and the reading on the wrist monitor is always around 40 higher systolic and 15-20 higher diastolic.I would not recommend this monitor due to the importance of accuracy where BP is concerned. This is why I have given it 1 star across the board.Spend a little more on a decent one with the arm inflator. Don't waste your money on this one.

Works perfect.
I was skeptical with the low price but it works perfectly and does everything itโs supposed to do, Iโve compared it with my mothers monitor which was very expensive and I got exact same readings, come with its own storage container what is solid.

Perfect for my needs
Was told I needed to keep a check on my blood pressure but I 'm not keen on the ones that go round the top of your arm. I had one but didn't like using it, so I ordered this one. It is great, goes round the wrist easily, I checked the readings for a few days with the other one I had and it was bang on the same so the old one is now defunct. Very happy with this item. Comes with full instructions, and a box that keeps it safe, so I can take it anywhere with me safely. Can highly recommend.

Works fine for me
Cheap definitely, but it has worked for me, in comparison to my wife's arm cuff machine the readings are very similar which is important for me as I suffer from Atrial Fibrillation and my blood pressure readings are important as well, this machine was complicit in diagnosing my Afib my heart rate had hit 130 BPM, and the arrythmia showed straight away, this prompted me to ring my GP's surgery who directed me to go to hospital where my Afib was picked up in triage and now on medication to treat it. I use it regularly to keep an eye on my BP and credit it with helping my diagnosis. Happy ๐
