Q: Of the 5.11 RUSH pack lineup… as a G.O.O.D. bag…. any wishes or regrets on choice of size/model… 12, 24 or 72?

I got the 24 for a bugout bag...wish I got the 72.

Q: Does this have a hip belt? Some pictures show it with a hip belt. Some without?

It has a hip belt, and there are stuff-pockets that the padded belt portion can be tucked into so it's out of the way if you choose not to use it. It's a great feature of this pack.

Q: I’ve seen several reviews where the person is 6 foot tall and the hip belt doesn’t distribute the weight. Anyone have this experience?

I have the older version but I think this answer still applies. The torso length of this pack is ridiculously short. I'm a typical 5'10.5" with a 19" torso and the waist belt is across my belly button. The pack is also very wide for its height. A person 5'6" and stocky would find it a perfect fit.
