Fits Wicked Edge Gen 4 Pro Perfectly
This is a very high quality case in a cool OD green color. I bought it to fit my Wicked Edge Gen 4 Pro knife sharpener and accessories and I couldn't be more happy or satisfied with the purchase. I tried the cheaper Harbor Freight Apache 4800 and it didn't fit either way laying down or standing up. Luckily it did fit my Wicked Edge WE64 Cobalt so I used it for that instead and began searching for a bigger case. The foam inserts in this one are also better quality and more of it. I wanted to write this review to help others because this took lots of careful measuring, purchasing another brand case to confirm it didn't work as well as a little luck and guessing. Hope this helps with the legwork and math via trial and error already done for you. I wish I could have read something like this before I bought. All other sources I have read and looked up spin you around in circles and never give conclusive answers on "what" case you actually need should you want something other than the factory case chronically out of stock and considerably more expensive. Well here you have it finally...this one fits and works perfectly folks.

Watch out Pelican
First of all let me preface by saying that I have multiple hard cases from the โmajorโ brands such as Pelican and Hurricane ranging from fire-arms to search and rescue equipment. Iโm military, and we abuse hard cases like itโs going out of style. That being said, I have come to view some things as over priced when cases break over minimal stress, clearly because it has a certain tag on it in this other facet of the โtactic-coolโ market. This case is well built, has firm locking mechanisms, no lid shift / tilt, and the foam isnโt bad. The very outer two layers of the foam that band the cubes are a little loose, but given the price itโs becomes a moot point. I submerged tested the case right when I got it, no leaks. I recently got into digital music making, but I thought the soft case that was offered by the brand who built my synthesizer was way to steep given that it offered no hard case protection. For the same price, I got this hard case. And I LOVE the red color. I have so many hard cases that are black or coyote tan; it just gets old when youโve been in the military for a minute. Being able to get a โfunโ color without being up-charged was nice. How many times have you wanted that cool piece of gear only to get it in โODโ or โCoyote Tanโ instead of black made it more expensive? I also want to point out that this brand has a ton of sizes, and my synthesizer has a very oblong slope to it, making any generic music case not being able to work. I donโt plan on lugging this on a combat rotation, but for the price point vs durability itโs perfect for keeping safe the things that you value.

Great Quality. Just as described! No need for an overpriced Pelican.
Throughout my many years of military service I was privy to using a wide variety of Pelican cases. Although, I never had to pay for one, I was aware of their expensive price points. Comparing this Condition 1 to the Pelican brand, I must admit, I am very impressed. For this particular model, it includes three layers of customizable foam. Each layer is approximately 1.5 inches thick. Each layer is made up of small removable squares (measuring .5 inch X .5 inch X 1.5 inches). Beyond the three customizable layers of phone sets one solid phone piece attached to the bottom of the case and another attached on the inside of the lid. The case also features for locking levers (with various external holes to secure with locks) and one decompression valve. In my pictures you'll see I was able to fit my DJI Ronin SC gimbal with its accessories, perfectly in this case. Granted, being I made no cuts and Strictly remove the foam squares to the shapes sizes and depths necessary, Some parts of my equipment don't fall perfectly snug into place. If you're somewhat of a perfectionist asylum, and depending on the amount of equipment's shape and depth complexity, You may want to clear up a few hours of your schedule to get your things set up just right. The case by no means feels cheap nor does it look it. This particular case it's much cheaper in price than one of very similar size from the Pelican brand and doesn't sacrifice quality. I would consider this case perfect if the customizable foam squares were smaller in thickness, not the 1.5 inches they currently are. If they were thinner it would allow for much more precise customization. Besides that, there isn't much difference between those two cases. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND getting this case! Best of luck on your purchase!

Good case. The long term rigidity of the pick and pull foam may be a concern, but for now, it's solid.
This is used to store a Zoom L12 and it does so with room to spare. The foam around the edges isn't all that good at the top by the hinges (we left about 2.5" of room...3 rows of the pick and pull foam and the foam that goes around the edges), but I might have a bad batch of foam. In spite of that, the mixer doesn't move once it's inside, as the egg foam in the top holds everything in place. The pick and pull foam was a bit stubborn to customize compared with a couple of other pick and pull cases I've used. If I hadn't been making a large 12"x 17.5" space to store it in and was making multiple smaller spaces, it might have been more frustrating. The latches are sturdy but easy enough to undo and the case itself feels sturdy. It is definitely BIG, but you don't buy an case labeled XL and expect it to be a dainty thing. I don't have experience with Pelican or any other brand, but I'm quite happy with the case. I do wish the foam didn't give me immediate concern about the long term ability to not get warped and/or flimsy, but time well tell. If I had to store multiple smaller items, I'm not confident the foam would hold up. If it everything stays as is, this is a 4-star purchase and definitely recommendable. If it does not and the foam gets flimsy in spite of the 2.5" or so we left, then it's a 3-star item.

Solid case with unique latch
This case from Condition 1 is perhaps one of the best bargains I've seen in case buys. I've recently bought close to half a dozen hard cases for my work. Most of the equipment we store are sensitive electronics or high grade optical instruments. This particular case fits one piece of equipment we use perfectly and is a rugged, well reinforced design. The case has all the necessary elements for a good case, the air valve, the lock loops, the rubberized handle, the gasketed water proof seal, the egg crate foam and pick and pull foam. Frankly because we laser cut our foam to fit our equipment, I'd prefer a solid foam option but that is a separate issue. To me a good case needs to close well and have easy to operate clamps. Unlike some more expensive brands you don't have to slam your palm against the clamp to close it. These have a nice leveraged closure that don't take a lot of force or a small mallet to close. When clamping the case closed I noticed that the egg crate foam can drop out of place and cause the lid to be misaligned or not close all the way. This may be the reason why other reviewers had such a hard time properly closing their cases. When the egg crate foam was properly positioned the lid closed perfectly, every time. But this leads to my biggest criticism of this case. The egg crate foam and the terrible double stick tape used to keep this in place. Condition 1 needs to rethink this because the tape they provide doesn't work as it barely holds the foam in place and is more frustrating to use than functional. I resorted to 3M surface mount spray to glue this in place. That is not my optimal option but what I had to do. Other makers solve this problem with a bit of a lip on the case design to hold the egg crate foam in place, or larger cut foam to have a more snug fit, or design hooking elements into the lid (small cone-like pins). I know because these were common in the other cases I bought. But overall, while this is a pain in the butt its a relatively easily solved issue. In conclusion this is a solid, easily toted case that will protect your equipment from the elements. I think the concerns of other reviewers of fit are due to things getting in the way during closure (foam falling) and not because the case itself is poorly made.

wow very impressed, can pack any size laptop
Way better then expected, cases look and feel very solid. Cases are filled with 4-5 layers of foam and it is pre cut in small squares so you can rip it and make space for whatever equipment you need which is very nice. Also you can attach 2 locks at the front, overall super nice quality, i would give 6 stars.

Good strong case, lots of foam, many latches
Everything is good except that the pluck-it foam was a bit hard to tear and I found it easier to cut it with a knife.
