Text Based Writing Nonfiction, Grade 5

I like the easy breakdown of step by step writing for my 5th grader. This book is good for child who needs more help writing.

The questions after the text do not require students to use evidence to justify their answers. Also, the writing prompts are not rigorous enough to compare to the ones in state testing.
