Very acurate, easy to set up and read!
Having stupidly broken my old max min thermometer with a bulb in it I wanted an accurate and similar replacementI went digital and was a bit unsure as to how good this would be but I am very impressedClear to read and very accurateIt very quickly changes up and down to .1 of a degree Celsius - for example when I open the door to my green house within 30 seconds the thermometer is updating showing the loss in temperature.I have to say I much prefer this unit and will not be going back to the old style thermometer- my only reservation is how long it may last in the elements of my greenhouse...????Please like if this review was helpful - Many Thanks

Not recommended for long time use
This is the first time I've written a negative report on Amazon. This thermometer was bought in March 2019, it lasted 1 year 2 months and then stopped working. The battery was changed with no positive result. It is a shame as the thermometer is easy to use and a good looking item.

Great product
Received incredibly quickly and extremely pleased with it. I like the format of old max/min thermometers but don't last long as liquid column breaks up. This combines old style with current technology at a reasonable price and works so well.

Does the job
I like this thermometer because I can reset it and keep an eye on night time temperatures in my greenhouse. Also it is easy to read, lightweight and was a very good price.

Not rainproof
Used in a conservatory for many months, although it wasn't easy to read from any distance, with too little contrast. But then I wanted to know maximum/minimum temperatures outside for a while. It wasn't under cover and it got rained on. It stopped working and the numerical readouts and display were full of water. I allowed it to dry out slowly in the airing cupboard, but it never worked again. What a pity the old mercury-in-glass types are no longer available, because alcohol-in-glass ones get poor reviews.
