Made of metal, I like the quality and sturdiness of this item. It was really easy to build and my cable slotted in nicely so it's tidy. The dark grey colour will go with any decor. My iPhone 12 Pro sticks to the MagSafe charger well enough so that it won't drop off however you either need to have a MagSafe phone case or take the case off for that to work otherwise the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the phone on (not the fault of the stand). I've used the option of the adhesive to stick it to my night stand, so I don't knock it off during the night.It's worth noting that this stand isn't suitable for iPhone 11 or earlier. Also, you need to have your own MagSafe charger and AC adaptor because they aren't provided (the seller does make this clear though).

Some of the reviews here say the stand is a little wobbly, but I suspect that stems from the average instructions.The stand comes with a little brass-ish grommet that slots into the base (after you've fed the USB cord thru) and acts as a solid support (it's slightly recessed) for the post itself.It was a little fiddly to get done up, but the included alan key did the trick.The adhesive base is too sticky and I want to be able to move the stand around on my desk so I have not removed the protective cover for the sticky base.Overall, a good unit, just a little expensive for what equates to not much more than chunks of metal, considering you need to BYO MagSafe charger cable.

A snug fit for the official Apple Magsafe plate, this is a quality engineered metal stand.The arm design means you need to orientate an iPhone with the camera lens set away from the arm to allow it to engage with the magsafe plate correctly. This is only a minor issue as that same arm design allows you to twist the iPhone off the stand one handed, without disturbing the base.I opted to not stick the stand down and along with the arm to apply pressure in lifting the phone back off the stand with ease, the base itself is quite heavy, again making this relatively easy.I would imagine no pressure would be required to remove if the base adhesive is also applied.The rotation is smooth and stays in place when adjusted. I didn't experience any issues with the screw or feel like the metal finish was too sharp as I have seen in other reviews.Cable is well hidden from the front view of the stand and I found it simple to assemble. I like it.Allowing the use of the standard Apple Magsafe charger means you don't have to deal with diminished charge capability as with other stands with built in chargers.

The materials look and feel great and this does hold the phone well, including when using third party cases. On the whole I think it's very good.However, putting the stand together can be tricky and to make sure the arm is aligned with the base (so that it doesn't look off-angle) you have to hold it firmly in place and tighten the bolt very tightly.Additionally, the power cable for the magsafe charger has to be curved quite acutely in order to fit in. I don't think it will break anything but it could have been designed better.

Really sturdy stand to put your MagSafe in. It allows your iPhone to go into Stand By mode and become a great bed side clock as you charge overnight. The build quality matches that of Apple products.

Came with pieces missing then broke my partners charger when he tried to remove (using the recommended method). Would not recommend item

I use this everyday to charge my phone, since I don’t trust the lightning port anymore; I’ve had experiences with the cable being in, but not charging causing me to miss work… with this, my phone always attaches to the magsafe puck (which I’ve bought separately and used for a few weeks on its own - trust me the stand is worth it) and charges, and because it freely rotates I can use it as a phone stand on my nightstand.The product itself is sturdy, the bottom adhesive is strong enough to allow for one hand placement and removal of the phone.Some of the edges are a little sharp, but they’re sharp in the way the intel based macbooks are… so still very premium

The inaccessible fixing has come loose so may need superglue to stop rotation
