Strong and easy to use
I needed to hang an interior clothesline in my vacation home- something I could put up and take down as needed. This kit with the stainless steel cable and the adjustable hooks was the perfect answer. I was able to find a location just the right length for the cable (it isn't adjustable in length) and with the hooks being able to be tightened or loosened with just a few twists, had a strong clothes line able to hold multiple drying towels and swimsuits. Works like a dream- easy to take down and coil up until needed again. All parts are well made and work together nicely.

EXACTLY what I needed!
I have a large sun shade attached at two points to the roof overhang and at two points on tall metal poles out in the yard. I needed to add shade from the sun as it sets in the afternoon. I was able to quickly install this wire line using two turnbuckles with hooks at each end attached to existing eyebolts. It was so easy! I was able to tighten the line so the very large outdoor curtain panel does NOT droop at all. This is the perfect solution to the sun-in-our-eyes problem. I am going to order more lines so I can frame the other two sides of the shade to create a private patio (my backyard is adjacent to a public park), I couldn't be happier with this product!

Great product
The instructions are good, along with the video. The parts aren't greasy or oily as some metal parts can be. The cable is metal but encased in vinyl, and they are bonded together. The nuts are 5/16", which would have been helpful to include in the instructions. I used a nut driver to make sure the nuts were super tight so the cable can't back out. The turnbuckle is ingenious, to remove the slack in the line. I didn't use the expansion hooks for mounting.

Works really well
I thought this was retractable since I wasn't paying attention, but when it arrived I figured out how to set it up outside so I can set it up with minimal effort, and take it down to protect it from the elements. I have a permanently fixed hook on a fence for one end of the clothesline, and I use a bungee cord on the other end to attach it to a tree branch. So far I have used it for cloth, bedding items, and other things I don't want to put in the dryer. Good value and very sturdy.

Heavy Duty Clothesline
I live near the beach in Hawaii and went through six different clotheslines before I found this one.Pros:This one does not sag, holds up with the salt water, intense winds and rain.Con:I probably could have figured out how to install it but it was just complicated enough I passed it on to my boyfriend to install it.

Strong, practical but you need some tools
I used the rope between two 4 by 4 wood posts. It works well. My husband had to use a drill and I think a 3/8 inch bit ( 10’mm) to make the holes in the posts. He also had to find a 10 mm wrench that had 6 sides to hold nuts. We had one that came with some furniture. Most other wrenches do not fit the nuts. I bought the 16 feet rope because I had 11 feet distance; however I probably just needed a 10 foot rope because I have about 5 feet extra rope. I just folded the excess. I like the sturdiness and can’t wait to put it to use. It has been several months and the rope is still strong and beautiful even with all the winds, storms and extreme heat and sun of Florida

El cable llego un poco mas pequeño.
Saludos, recibí el articulo con todo lo que indica la descripción, pero tenia aproximadamente 18 pies, tuve que unirlo con otro cable para que llegara a la distancia de 20 pies que necesitaba,

Finally a durable clothesline
After having 2 different retractable clotheslines die on me I wanted something more durable, even if it's slightly less convenient. You could probably go buy all the parts this comes with, but you'd likely ended up spending just as much and you'd have to go to the store. The 20ft length was just barely enough for the line setup I already had, so I lucked out there. It's much more sturdy and reliable with a load of heavy, wet clothes on it. It's not even really any more inconvenient either as adjusting the anti-sag screw is easy and fast as a retractable system. So goodbye crappy retractable clotheslines that die after less than 1 year of use. Durable steal cable is the way to go.
