Ive used this stuff for the last 3 times I washed my hair and its pretty decent stuff. The smell is nice and my curls look great. I saw some reviews where this dried peoples hair out some. I have not had that experience. Like I said, seems like pretty decent stuff.Update: Made the mistake of washing my hair a few days in a row and my hair feels a little more dryer than before. I would still recommend this product though. Just use sparingly

I love this brand, so I decided to try out this Pacifica Beauty Pineapple Curls, Curl Defining Shampoo and Conditioner Set. First off, I love the look and design of the shampoo and conditioner; very sleek, modern and easy-to-use. Additionally, the smell of both products is very pleasant, with a light and fruity smell-I love it.These both work well to help make my naturally curly/wavy hair be more smooth and defined. I love that it takes away the frizz, and adds moisture. These are a very nice set of shampoo and conditioner, and I love this brand. I'm very pleased with how this already has had some positive effects on my hair. Very nice product, and at a reasonable price for both the shampoo and conditioner. Love this!

I've used up my entire bottle of conditioner and most of the shampoo by now. As someone with permed, fine, thin and curly hair, this formula is gentle enough for my sensitive scalp and definitely leaves a volumizing effect.However, my only complaint is the difference in smell between the products in the same line. The shampoo has this heavenly, vanilla, oat milk, lactonic scent that lingers in your shower and feels like a sweet, cozy hug. For whatever reason, though, this fragrance is much less present in the conditioner and mousse formulas, and instead is overwhelmed by a stale apple smell. I wish I could just bottle the shampoo scent and wear it as a perfume-- and I also wish that scent was consistent in the conditioner and mousse formula as well!Regardless of the inconsistent fragrance, the results in leaving my hair softer and fuller are undeniable and these are definitely products that will be included in my shower rotation.Additionally: this product was packaged well, no leaks were present. :)

I’m a big shampoo and conditioner user, always trying new kinds and brands. This one is not great. My least favorite is the foam. I have to pump at LEAST 20 pumps to get even a somewhat decent lather. Terrible idea. The conditioner is okay, but again, needed a lot.The smell is nice but very subtle. I use a heat oval brush blower to dry my hair and it feels alright once it’s dry, but not very smooth or shiny.Definitely will not buy this one again. The picture is of 2 pumps. Hardly the size of a quarter and really airy/thin.

Great for curly & dyed hair. Smells Amazing! Plus I never react or break out for it.

I bought this set because I’m careful about avoiding known endocrine disruptors and wanted to try something clean. Unfortunately, it was a total miss for me. The initial tropical scent vanishes seconds after applying it, leaving behind a weird after-smell.Performance-wise, the shampoo left my hair feeling completely stripped of its natural moisture. I hoped the conditioner would save it, but it didn't provide the nourishment or slip that my curls need. It might just be my specific hair type, but it is not worth it for me. I wouldn't recommend it.

This is amazing!! I’m allergic to sulfates all kinds and a horrible sensitive scalp.I’ve tried very shampoo from expensive brands to custom products to making my own shampoo and conditioner. Nothings worked quite as well as this. Very glad making the switch it’s has brought so much of my curls back! My roots don’t stick to my scalp or have any weird film like texture. The conditioner feels lovely on my ends and my normal hair care routine I feel like has gotten a lot better. Personally I’ve noticed if I rise each out with cooler water and let the conditioner sit in it for a bit longer it definitely helps with the frizz. OoHhh!!!! The smell is like a pineapple vanilla cake and stays smelling yummy. I feel like I could continue to express how great this product is and I’ve been telling everyone I know about it.

Foam shampoo might sound like a good idea but in reality it’s a terrible one. If your hair is wet (which it should be if you’re shampooing) the foam dissipates or liquifies almost instantly leaving very little if anything left to lather. I have long hair but barely mid back and I have to use two handfuls (like 20 or more pumps) to have enough to feel like I’m doing anything to my hair.The pump design itself is also terrible. The spout is very short and close to the bottle itself which means the only way to pump the shampoo into your hand is to hold it in your other one. That might not sound like a big deal until you’re mid-shampoo and need to get some more and find how slippery the bottle can be. If the pump were longer and further away from the bottle, you would at least be able to leave it in your shower caddy or on a ledge and pump it into your hand instead of onto the side of the bottle.As for the shampoo itself, it says it is supposed to be moisturizing for dry hair, but this has not been my experience. I can usually get away with washing my hair every other day, but with this shampoo my scalp gets dry and itchy unless I wash it daily. I’ve used it for 2-3 weeks now but I’m not sure that’s enough time to notice any difference in “strength & shine” yet but so far I haven’t noticed anything. It smells okay though.
