    ) justice. Suffice to say that it spoke to me in a way that very little has since, or probably ever will. Perhaps a bit more explicitly: it set my soul on fire.Anyone can understand these very short parables, regardless of age, culture, or faith. They read as funny jokes, as brief stories, as small reflections, as food for thought. They often seem slight, almost negligible in stature. Some are only a few words long. But as I've come to realize over time, less is more in this genre. There is a universe housed in each of these passages, enough to feed you for a lifetime. I hesitate to say it because it sounds like hyperbole, but if you read one book* in your life, I think it should be this one.* Actually you should read Taking Flight +
