Like it said in the description, 500-600. I didn't count them and I tend to be trusting. The bag is very sturdy as I remember. Imagine a 5 pound bag of sugar. The bag is not as thick as the sugar, about half. These pebbles can be used in multiple ways, and I am sure you have a use in mind. Don't even go to You Tube to see all the ideas, you will have to purchase another bag. I put my last bag on a window for privacy. Protect you from me, protect me from you.
