I have WF-1000XM3 that got to the point where they last < 1 hour. On a whim I did a web search to see what it would take to replace the batteries. I found a couple pages that talked about how easy these Sony earbuds were to open and that the batteries were just button batteries (CP 1254). So I ordered these. They came the next day, I was able to get the WF-1000XM3s open, pretty easily, and replaced the batteries. It took two charge cycles to get them fully charged, but they are lasting 3-4 hours with ANC on now. I am very happy!

I love my Sony earbuds. I would replace it if anything were wrong with it. But for over a decade, it has been my companion. I was sad when the battery needed to be replaced. Normally most people will let this go to retirement. I started experiencing with other brands. Disappointed returned them all and bought this kit. It was easy to replace if you followed the instructions. I feel so good and grateful that I have a whole new 10 years!

So, I didn't use my WF-1000XM3 for a few months, as they got lost, I found them, tried to charge and the were completely dead, one headphone would take a charge but, other would not. I started shopping for new headphones then found a YouTube vide on how easy it is swap the batteries. I used the included tools and in about 45 min my headphones had new batteries and working perfect again. For the price to fix them, if yours are dead, this is a no brainer, plenty of videos on YouTube how to do the swap.

Went in fine. Doesn’t last as long as the original but seems to have about 80% time of the original.

Ive had my headphones since they where released and now in 2022 they only hold a charge of at most 2 hours and 55 minutes for the right headphone and 1 hour for the left headphone. I switched the batteries and now i get a full 5 hours on both headphones. I have the bass at max and a custom EQ and sony does mention those things will lower your battery by about 2 to 3 hours so these batteries seem to hold more power then the original sony batteries. Definitely worth getting if you love your xm3 and dont feel like dropping another 400$ for the newest xms. Highly recommend these batteries.

I took too long to install these and found out too late that they're defective. I installed these in my Galaxy Buds Live earbuds. They were a perfect match for the old batteries and fit perfectly. The issue is that I've never been able to get them fully charged since installing. Additionally, the buds aren't recognized anymore by my phone or tablet. When I put the old, worn batteries back into the buds, they connected to my phone immediately and when I plugged them in to charge, they did charge fully and the light on the case turned green. When I put these batteries back in, I had the same issues as before with the buds not connecting to anything and never fully charging, even after a factory reset. Avoid these and find something better.

These were used in repairing a pair of older open box Samsung Galaxy Buds Live True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds - Mystic White earbuds. The process was much simpler than I imagined. Part of what made this easy was the clear instruction on the page as well as the ifixit instructions on breaking down the earbuds and installing these, properly. For safety reasons I strongly advice that you carefully read all instructions before performing this on your own. The added tools were largely in my case, though the screwdriver may help, I recommend a more rigid plastic pry tool, in case you are using these for the same earbuds that I did. Definitely don't use metal on your earbuds, or you risk scratching or breaking them. Bonus that these are genuine made in Germany batteries! The old batteries wouldn't hold a charge for longer than 20 minutes, but these held a charge for a full day on the road, taking calls and listening to music, with no issue. They charged quickly, and calibrated easily with the charging case for the earbuds. These worked perfectly.
