What's the difference between the F300 and the F500?

Both F300 and F500 support PS4, PS3, XBOX ONE, XBOX 360, PC USB and Android System. The difference is that F500 has more functions as below.F500 Enhanced Function 1. Q: so as of february 10th 2018, does this fightstick include a octagonal plate?

Yes I just recently bought this and it's come with an extra octagonal plate if you wish to switch it out for the pre-installed square plate. Swapping out the plates was very easy and only took about 5 minutes to do, having never done it before.

Are the button size on it 30mm

It has eight 30mm buttons and one 24mm button (The start button)

So as of August 4 2017 does this fightstick include a Octagonal Plate?

It does and installing the plate is so easy. Its just held on by clips. Take the old one out, pop the 8 way in, you're good to go. Things got like 6 screws. My 5 year old could do it no problem.
