I wanted a cheap dumb phone with good battery life, this one fits the bill, it's only 2G which will be phased out eventually in the UK but still good for a few years. Works fine with Giff Gaff which incidentally piggy backs the O2 network so still ok with 2G on their network. Nice big keypad, large screen, menu system is a bit convoluted so you'll have to play around with it to get used to it and you can configure the navigation keys for your own shortcuts. The only minus thing is the loudspeaker volume which is not separate to the handset volume which you need to set at full volume, so when you switch to the loudspeaker it blasts out rather loudly and you have to manually turn it down each time. The built-in radio is great, again problem with volume being too high and not able to turn it down low enough for quiet listening. The plastic screen will probably get a lot of scratches over time but for a phone that cost 33.99 quid including the 2 quid discount is a real bargain

This review is based on its intended use as a line phone in a factory.The ring tones are very loud which was the main reasion for buying also with it being larger then a standard mobile it was much easyier to use when wearing those food handling gloves however it was never used due to a major deal breaker in that none of the sim cards we use in the factory (O2) work, also tryied a vodaphone and virgin media sim as well for good mesure and all gave the same error "unable to register on the network" after talking to both O2 and voda customer support it looks like the cause is that both networks no longer use the 2g bands instead using both 3g and 4g volte tec which means this phone is not compatible with the mobile operators we use as the phone is 2g only.Im sure that if you can find a operator that still uses 2g then this phone will do the job but here in the uk it looks like 2g is dead (or soon will be).I am unable to say anything else as its now been put into storage incase it can be salvaged/used down the line.

the only snag i find with this phone is,i cant seem to find out how to turn the volume up when im talking to anyone.found the volume part but its full on yet quiet.Is there any way this can be enhanced???.speaker phone is too loud weird

Battery melted and the smell of it smoking woke us, the only thing avoiding it starting a fire. For your own safety please do not buy

Bought for my dad. Looks god and everything easy to understand. Need memory card apart. Really long live time of battery. Loud speakers.

Bought this to keep 3 ("GOLD") SIM cards alive till April, all three SIMs work fine and the phone makes and receives calls as it should. Battery is awesome, easily lasting 5 -7 days with minimal usage....

Brilliant brought for my dad as he has trouble seeing aswell as not being up to scratch with technology, simply easy to use and very well made.
