Nice plants :)

Nice plants! I shoulda used more string for the moss lol!! Made a bit of a mess but as it goes with new plants :) Very nice root system, just REALLY wrap up the moss :) Or use some weights, thats what I did.

Warning: Comes with free Dragon Fly eggs

Ya DO NOT BUYWell, if you want to risk itThe supplier must grow outside bc I got at least THREE dragon fly nymph demons that terrorized my tank from these.I ordered 10 but got like 34 packs and thought they were being cool by giving me extras or they messed up.In hindsight I think they knew their moss had a bunch of snail eggs in there and dragon fly eggs hidden in it.The pest/bladder snails I can deal with- not a nuisance to me since I can breed them for a pea puffer in the future but I could see why someone else would be upset. My problem is that Ive had dragon fly nymphs hiding in my substrate steadily killing all my cherry shrimp, baby shrimp and bigger snails. If I find one more of these I'm going to redo the whole tankLesson learned, know your supplier. Go with an indoor grower if you can.Attached is the picture of the nymphs I’ve collected

Snails! Thanks for the free stuff

I purchased the buy two get one free deal. Not sure what I was expecting. Maybe something not so covered in brown goo? I definitely didn't want the snails.I cleaned it up as best as I could before putting it in my tank. I placed them in a mason jar first to see if there were hitchhikers. There were. I got most of them before the drop. Since it was all separated and cleaned off as best I could without damaging the moss. No way to fasten it down now that it is in strands. So it's all over. I just let the currents carry it to where it lives now. A lot of it is darker green now so I know it's not dying. So far I've pulled 8 additional snails from the walls. So I have a healthy population at least. My nitrile snails do not like them and pull away when one comes close. It was as described, the groups of Java moss.Star rating is based on the hitchhikers and the gunk. Didn't want that kind of snail in this tank. To late now. Overall the moss looks to be getting established. Once it's going strong (out not) I'll revisit and update. It's been a long time since I had moss growing in one of my tanks.Thank you for the deal. That made it worth it to me.

Good! But kinda brown

I got a pretty good portion size that was able to be separated and planted in multiple parts of my 10 gallon tank. I did end up needing to get more moss to cover my rocks and driftwood. I was expecting that the plant would look more like the photo, but it was very brown instead of green. I got it earlier than expected, and I’ve had it in my tank for about 5 days. The moss is doing great and took to my tank immediately, but the color is still pretty brown and not so much green.

A gamble on how much you get

Came in a small little bag, and a bit of the clump was brown and a dark green. Separated it a bit and stuck it in my aquarium, tying some to lava rocks and letting others just float or sink wherever. After a while didn't think it was gonna grow, but eventually after like a month or two noticed a bunch of very small tiny green shoots popping up all over the moss branches. Also it seems these little green shoots are actually attaching themselves to the rocks. So it will grow, but takes a while to adapt and needs light to do so.Edit/Update: So updating this review, and lowering my review score... Made another order for this since the first one was so good. When the second one came, what I got was beyond disappointing. The first I ordered came in a little bag that was FULL and gave me enough to cover multiple rocks - like 4-6 rocks. The second order I got gave me a bag with a TINY little pathetic clump that didn't even fill half the small bag it came in. Was only enough for two tiny little rocks. I would not recommend this as it's a gamble as to whether you get a tiny clump or not. The second batch was not worth the money spent and the time it took to get delivered. I got so little the second time I could literally have cut off a small bit from the first batch that grew in another aquarium and I would have had more than what they sent me the second order. Also one more thing, while the first order was great and grew very BIG I did get detritus worms, lots of tiny worms that just appeared out of nowhere and judging by some of the other reviews on here it seems they probably came from this moss.I attached a picture that shows the comparison. First pic was my first order, and second pic was the pathetic clump I got in my second order.

Thriving

I thought it would die at first because it came in dark green, but it took right to my tank. Worth buy. size is roughly 1inch.
