Once I knew what the issue was it is very easy to correct via Nvidia's interface
I would have given this VGA to HDMI adapter 5 stars but I had some "issues" getting everything to work. This adapter does work as they claim however, if you have an Nvidia video card you may have some issues getting your audio jack on your computer to work properly as it killed both audio jacks on my main board (and the one in the front of the case) when I plugged in the USB cable from the adapter (to any of 6 USB ports on my Dell XPS 8700) and, the adapter will not work if you leave the USB cable from the adapter unplugged as there is no signal detected at all because the adapter needs that cable to be plugged in to power the adapter. However, after I did plug it in I had a picture and sound on my display but NOT ON MY COMPUTER ANYMORE.Yesterday I spent two hours searching as to why my audio died on my computer whenever I plugged in the USB cable from the adapter into any USB port. I even wrote and email to the seller, (still waiting for an answer). I finally found an article on Nvidia's web site but I lost the link when I ran CCCleaner. Once I knew what the issue was it is very easy to correct via Nvidia's interface. All I had to do was select "Digital audio" and turn it off to all three ports feeding all of my displays and set "speakers" as the default audio. When you plug in the adaptor it becomes the default (USB) audio device and it over rides the main board signal and kills it. This is a handy little ice of information to know. Surely I can't be the only one with an Nvidia card that has purchased this adapter but if so, at least the next person who does..hopefully will read my review and they won't waste a lot of time trying to find a solution.My philosophy is is well that ends well.

Amazing plug and play device out of the box
This device worked so flawlessly immediately i was very surprised. My laptop hdmi was just not working, this vga to hdmi brought the option back to my lapton and it jsut wotks as expected.Great

I had the product for about 2 weeks before using it. I attached it to my HDMI monitor around the 3rd week in January and it worked fine until February 12th so about 3 weeks when it stopped working.
